...is super rusty and pink!

Grand in his (hers?) ugliness. Perfectly distasteful.  :eusa_clap:

Amidst all the rotting and mutating that thing still kept brushing its teeth.

The rust is great!

Amidst all the rotting and mutating that thing still kept brushing its teeth.

40 Pox walkers and three plagueburst crawlers all wrapped up!  I am at 2000 points with this army in about a month of work.

The pox walkers came to me painted... terribly.  I painted over about 80% of the models to clean them up.  I love the look.

The crawlers are in order, left to right, with when I painted them.  I tried a new rust style by the time I did the second and third one.  The rust is paint rather than pigment.  pigment rubs off, the paint doesnt!  I think I have narrowed down the verdigris as well.  It took me some time to figure out.

New additions for the army (not pictured - another 20 pox walkers):

Mortarion:

Deathshrouds:

I managed to paint 3000 points worth of Death Guard in 30 days, which was my goal.  Was great fun and I love the army.  Of course I haven't actually played the army in a single game yet...

Your army looks absolutely amazing, maybe even better than your (very impressive) Orks. Painting that many models to such quality in 30 days while I will probably struggle to paint my 20 boys in a month, hats off  :biggriin: .

Seconded.

Did you sculpt the eye things on the two rightmost tanks?

The weathering looks good to me. On all of the tanks. The change of method is visible, but I also think the leftmost tank looks good.

Also they are incredible.

Remember, I am a middle school teacher so I get 13 weeks of vacation, 9 of which is the summer months!  The Deathguard were my end of summer project.  I put on audiobooks or watch teacher seminars and paint with my free time.  It is very relaxing and preps me for my next school year!

This summer I did all of those knights, the death guard, the ork plane, the unit of flash gitz, and 15 khorne bezerkers and a khorne rhino.  So two full armies and a few models from my fun armies.

True.
Though I think even if I got 13 weeks I would be too busy with kids and wife and house. I guess watching the prep sessions helps. Well done though!

Lovely work on the nurgle stuff!
They look very coherent, yet chaotic.
I must say, I'm really impressed with the new nurgle figures of GW.
