are we talking a day in cardiff? are we going to your house?

it only takes just over 2 hours to get to cardiff, and it's pretty cheap if booked beforehand!

Some new acquisitions

The avenger bombers were surprisingly poor sculpts and casts.

Where did you get the bomber and assault boats from? All nib!
There are 40 different shades of black, so many fortresses and ways to attack.

So why you complaining!

A swedish shop that happened to have some lying around. They still have some bombers/fighters left @ £10 or so per blister.

Their webshop only has shipping costs displayed for Sweden. If you want it sent out of Sweden you have to order by email so that he can work out the postage and give you the total sum, payed for with paypal (which is what I did)

Try sending an email (in english) to info@gamemaniacs.se for the order, he's quick to respond and seems like a decent chap.

PM me if you need a hand.

Is that an alibaba job? Tempted by a battlebarge and some thunderhawks. I can't quite make out your chapter symbol there, looks almost like the finger (angry marines!).

More cattlebleat: Tried a fading hex pattern on the new one, still need to do the white lights.

The base is a mix of 50/50 balthazar gold/bubonic brown, followed by a wash of earthshade.

The first layer of the pattern is 50/50 sunburst yellow/balthazar gold, second layer is 25/25/50 yellow/white/gold.

The blue really works with the brass style finish of the ship, look like it is shining. Which colour did you use. Is it the verdigris style paint?
A couple of golden yellow lights among them would really create a sense of realism. Not all internal lights are the same wave length.

Base is amazeballs! How did you do that?

Cheers. I'll try changing the lights a bit, see how that turns out. I can also make a short tutorial for the nebula, it's really not hard at all.
