I assume we vote about the standard avatars, not the Christmas ones.

My avatar vote also goes to General Helstrom.

As for sigs, anything quoting Rufus Sparkfire.
The only good thing about 7th ed heads is that they look particularly inbred and superstitious which is perfect for Stirlanders

I like Kernschatten's 'man in a gold helmet' avatar. Or that one Hagen had ages ago of some kind of weird king. I can't remember any others off the top of my head.

Signatures, don't know. Nothing springs to mind.

Didn't Hagen have that scary guy with a tattoed head?
That was my favourite, he could have been a Warrior Priest in my army anyday. Talk about a scary, all business, zealot kind of guy.
-FIGHT OR DIE! he screamed
So we fought..
And died

I thought that was Hagen - actual photo!!!!
Who's going to argue with him?

Maybe the 'anger management classes' led to him changing to the milder more conciliatory current version?

Best Sig at present is Biggshancock's  "Look Out Sir" one.

Oh. I thought Hagen's Avatar was Mr. T. Or maybe they are the same person.

Who? Mr T and Hagen?

No seriously, well trying to be, you are showing your age; surely MR T was the big black guy from the A Team, and one of the Rocky films? With all the 'bling' - see I know the lingo!!

Rufus: You mean that one?
Sadly he passed away this year. Great caricaturist. :(

Oh, and thanks for the Kudos, guys, I always try to be sensitive about choosing my avatar.

My favourite would have to be Kernschatten's Rembrandt or Pygmy Hippo's Halberdier (I guess it's supposed to be Georg von Frundsberg).

Signatures... dunno, I don't really pay much attention to those, allthough I like BWARTM's "Your mother cooks socks in Hull!!"...

German satirist, cartoonist and caricaturist Chlodwig Poth, co-founder of the notorious german satire-magazin "Titanic" who died at the age of 74 this july. Great guy, I once even met him, about two years ago.

My favourite was the Village Idiot's old moving Jester avatar.
Actually, forget Karl-Franz. I want rules for Thyrus Gorman on a dragon. - Rufus Sparkfire

Hey, glad people like my avatar :p By "old", do you mean the one I have now (ie. without the Santa hat) or the really old one of a Civ I Leqionaire?

My favorite avatar is probably Sparkfire's (though it is suddenly absent?) because it fits his character here so well - slaving over a pile of tomes by the meagre light of a candle. As for sigs, Dead 'Ard Greatsword's made me laugh: "Before you criticise a man walk a mile in his shoes.... then when you do criticise him you're a mile away and you have his shoes"
I don't know what Caesar thought when he got to the Ides of March
Don't know what Houdini bought when he went to the store
But I sure do miss the eighties

NOT funny, since I really share some resemblance with him... I didn't even think about it until my girlfriend (we were both great wrestling-fans during our teenage-years) mentioned it when I was wearing a shirt with flames one day... :?
But yeah, that was why I chose him as my avatar for a certain while ;)

Midaski's: Quote: rufus sparkfire:
"Run! It's an old guy trying to be trendy"
is the best signature imo.....

As for avatars......GH's one works best offhand.....in truth I rather bias towards pics of people's general's as their face.....I'm quite proud of my own, spent ages getting a decent photo (light and all...).
