I like it.

However I think it suffers from both a bad paint job, a weird head, and a Warcraftyness...

Hi all,

I just got off the phone with GrillyP, who is currently in Guam for some unknowable reason (I think it had something to do with a text message he got from Cthuhlu but he wouldn't confirm).

He has no idea when they got a hold of pictures of him and why they would want a model representing pure hatred in what is actual a lovely board game of fantasy parties, but he approves the mold.

Belkalor is still a much nicer model, theres just something that screams no at me. Plus it has the star on it's chest, can I really be bothered to resculpt it?

These pictures are pretty old actually :p.

I for one like him. He looks incredibely evil, doesn't have a truckload of skulls (only the backbanners? who sculpted this?

) and has a cool pose. I especially like the enormous horn shoulderpad. I can't wait to see a conversion of this model mixed with the giant.

I don't really want a undivided Daemon Prince, the star would suggest it, i'd rather it either had a bare chest and the symbols or nothing at all. The preportions kinda seem odd too, personally i'd love to see a model based on the artists picture of a Khorne Daemon from the old Chaos Mortals book. The one from the Skarlgard or something? I think the pictures in the new daemon book as well. He has a halberd.

Edit: Whoop, not anymore. Wow, that's a shitty model. Really, it has no appeal to me whatsoever, it's like they looked at WOW and tried to copy the model as generic and boring as possible. I know, I know, it's supposed to be undivided, but that excuse just isn't good enough.

I guess you could break out your chaos spawn plastic parts [like I have piles of them] and kit bash it into something resembling your god of choice.

Daemon princes are poor choices anyway arn't they? They looked it from my reading.
