New Tactica: Civil Wars-How to Beat Empire with Empire
« on: December 29, 2004, 09:58:50 PM »
Greetings all!

The most frustrating game to play is a civil war against another Empire player.  You can stack the odds in your favor if you have a plan of action and understand how to approach the battle.  Take a look at some helpful hints here:

I thought it was  nice touch!  Besides it lets everyone know I'm a seasoned veteran and not a pimply faced teenager.

Excellent sir, very appropriate with our campaign hopefully looming.

I shall be searching for Fallen Scholar's cavalry list.

Never mind the vanity, most 'writings' have an about the author bit + photo on the back cover - I thought it was a nice touch.

Maybe we ought to have a thread in the CT of all our ugly mugshots - and I suppose it could be like listening to a radio voice where one conjures up an image of a voice (or in our case keytapping) and then is generally totally surprised when they look nothing like you imagined.

I see Rufus quite like his current avatar????????
and Hagen, well, I thought his previous avatar was a genuine photo????
The scary one is Queek - I try NOT to picture that one........

Don't ask me why, but I always imagined Atchman to be a bit like the real world version of Cole Richards, from the PvP webcomic... (http://www.pvponline.com/cast.php3)

So the pic did come as a surprise :-D

That I didn't write :)  In fact I don't know how that got there at all unless Grutch did it.

Excellent article Atchman!

I must say I still object somewhat to every infantry-heavy army being called "TVI", I feel it just doesn't do the Divisions - the most ingenious factor in TVI's tactics - any justice. Anyone and their dog can field a lot of infantry, but when you make working Divisions, that is TVI. Still, it's the vocabulary of the day I guess :-D

It's not everyday we get to look at the Empire from an enemy perspective. Very educational. Makes you think of the weaknesses of your own army. Great job!

Its actually a California Strat.  They were a limited edition I think as I paid much more than I would have for a normal one. I don't remember the exact color something like "crusin yellow".

We have a Christian Rock band, though we haven't played in months.  We put out an album about two years ago.  I also did a country album mostly for my father of songs that he and I wrote.  It only circulates through my family.
