Topic: Threkki's Middenheim/Middenland Army (Pic Heavy)

This is the start of what will become a massive gallery of photos that is my middenheim/middenland army.

Currently there is the problem that many of my empire models are in a completely different city about 9 hours drive away so I cant be bothered going and getting them but I will start with what I do have.

I have made my state trooper regiments from Middenland with full blue uniform and white socks while my handgunners are from the city of Middenheim so they have the quartered white and blue uniforms.








I also have some half painted Rieksguard Knights just because they are cool. 





Kurt Helborg leads these Rieksguard Knights because he is cool 





My army is led by the great elector count Boris Toddbringer







and a couple of Warrior Priests of Ulric to spice things up. 









A couple of representatives from the college of engineers also make an appearance

Yea I got some white wolves but they part of the army that I dont have with me 


I'm just repainting most of my troops at the moment because empire is one of the armies I started ages ago, my painting has improved heaps since nearly all these models were painted but it gives you an idea of what my army will look like when it is finally completed

You should add a bit of detail and texture to your Count's horse, at present it is very flat.

Nice unit of halberds there, especially the standard's paintjob is good. Have you considered using a wash or something on their skin, as it looks quite flat at the moment.
The warrior priest is well painted and blue really suits him.

But why does a halberd unit champion have a sword and a shield? Guess it's just a matter of taste, but just I'm just asking

The priests horse is an improvement. You should consider dotting the eyes in black though. Looking really good so far though, especially the newer stuff.

Looking good. One quick question though, do you thin you're paints at all? The blue armor on the horses looks a little thick, that all. Otherwise, looking forward to seeing more

My friend going to crate middenheim army (actualy it will be repaint of his Nordland men). And main problem here is whom would this army worship? As I see here you include both prests of Sigmar and Ulric, is it ok fluffwise?

As far as I can tell from what I have read its ok to have either, it says they mainly worship ulric but im sure there are still priests of sigmar around and they are still people of the empire. I think it is the same as talabheim, worshipping both sigmar and taal.
