The world-theory of AoS is interesting. It promises a vast setting compared to the Old World or similar single-planet or single-continent settings. Very good breeding ground for both official revelations and fan factions with lots of character.
Still, they need to start focusing on the setting more than the fighting, and they need to start writing better. Also, I wouldn't object to a more army-style/feel game, whatever bases and formations it might use.
But this is definitely progress!
The question that interests me is if they started with the new models and came up with the setting later, or the other way around. What I've seen actually suggests the former. Which would also echo with the GW mantra of being a model company first.
