Colonelgoth decides to be Slightly Less lurky.

Less lurking more pictures.

First a thing I'm making for my friend:

and some of my empire manly men:
Pretty much all I've painted so far (Apart from the steam tank, I got that pre-painted)

Wizards

Pistoliers

Swordsmen

Sorry about the blurriness. I took these a while ago, and have a habit of forgetting to switch macro on. :/

Blargh. (:

Thank you all (:

Yeah fluff is still a bit undecided/work in progress. I think last time I wrote some they were technically Averlanders just obviously with no outwardly connection to them. So Undecided is fine :b

I finished the base on my mini diorama:

Thank you, it's probably my favourite model I've done.  :biggriin:

Are the two swordsmen pictures the same unit just with the men ranked differently? If not the identical command groups are a problem. Just confused me, fair enough if they are simply two shots...

Okay I need help. I've gotten bored of the amount of black in the colour scheme. Despite being a really easy option, it's a bit bland and makes the whole army a bit too dark for my liking. So I'm going to attempt to add more colour. The only problem is which. I've got it mostly narrowed down to either Red (and make them Altdorfians) or Green (Which doesn't make them anything, maybe Stirlanders?).

Here's some pictures for comparison. Original scheme, Green + Blue, Red+Blue.

Also I tested out using bronze-y armour on my green guy just to see what it was like. Thoughts?
(Ignore the badly painted faces etc. They were down very quickly and just to low table top standard)

The green should be easier to paint over the black and will give a more original scheme.

Go green!
