Back in the day I was trying to get a 3 units of 30 figures but in the end I bought and painted 40 then they jumped to 6 points and this idea changed

Well, as you put boobs in the title I can make certain nobody gets upset coming into this thread.

This is why everyone loves the militia kit. Best kit out there for making characterful and individual guys! No need to ever make two guys from the box that look very similar, especially when you combine in a few bits and bobs from other kits, which is super easy to do.

Free Company are my favourite unit. Back in 6th I based my army around em. Sold the guys when I quit, along with way more unpainted Empire. Now trying to get a full unit again. No militia painted so far though, but that will change this year.

Free company is the best kit ever. Of all time. I've probably bought more of them then most other army stuff combined.

I know that you have to pay the extra point, but I don't really care. I'm going to use them with that new Defenders of Middenheim formation.

I think it's from one of the End Times books, there were special army formations that would include specific units and characters.
