Help Kislev model identification
« on: November 18, 2009, 09:31:18 PM »
Hey
From the Kislevbook from the WD i was reading again, i noticed on p. 28-29 Dave Taylor's Kislev showcase some models i cant identify. So i need you help.
Its the halberdwielding and pikewielding models, were they in the Kislev range, or how is the model made?

not knowing what you were looking at, I would still venture a guess that the figures were from the Kislev Mordheim group, there were at one time, a number of figures, the nicest being the bear handler and bear. The other figures with pike/halberd etc weren't too bad either, but you had weapon choices that you had to pin in place, if you did a lot of gaming.  steveb

The models are conversions. The base model is 5th edition Grave Guard with heads looted mostly from Mordheim Middenheimer sprue aka "hairy head" sprue and Kislev Horse archers with couple of original Grave Guard heads in the mix! The halberd unit wields the original weapons used by Grave Guard, the spear/pikes are conversions.
Knowledge is power, hide it well.
