Hi dudes!

I've been thinking of doing a blog for a while, but lack of good camera has prevented my plans for a blog. Now that my little brother got a nice camera as his birthday present, I can make him to take pics of my figs and start a blog! Yay!

I have mainly been painting & collecting empire for about three-four years now, but I also have a small WoC army which grows very slowly. My empire army began as Talabheim force, but when i found out that i don't really like painting white all that much, I introduced some Hochlanders into my army.

And as this blogs name suggests, I'll try to paint US 10 or more per week. If I success in it, give applauses or put one in midaskis tab. If I fail in it, throw rotten tomatoes at me and boo at me.  Note: basing units confers ½ of the units actual US. This encourages me to base my units, as I'm rather lazy in basing.

But enough of talk and MOAR PIX! (That's why you came here in first place anyway = P)


First off, an army shot: roughly 3000 points worth of empire fellows (characters not counted)



And this weeks US 10 accomplishment: a steam tank. I will glue it to its base after basing the base.

Little close up from the white, after four years of painting white I think that now I've found a reasonably fast way to paint white, while still maintaining rather nice quality in it.

Edit: Some of my models were quite dusty at the time of taking the pics, so that explains the white dots you may have seen in the pics = P

Well yeah, I thought about cropping and resizing them. Too bad that it came into my mind after uploading the pics = D. So you have to live with those huge pics  . Next time I'll resize my pics.

As far as I can see the stank is nicely done and a well I can live perfectly with the size

Due to a fishing trip I couldn't paint my goal of US 10 last week (in fact, i didn't finish anything!)

But, as new week begins, I have some WIP pictures to show you! And this time they are even resized and cropped = D

Now threadomancy shall happen at the very heart of empire. Mwahahah!

But yeah, after the huge rush of comments i got when i began this blog, my interest in keeping it alive was very low. Not to mention the lack of natural light as the winter started descending upon this northern land.

However, something just recently made me to think about resurrecting this blog, and maybe also to start painting bit more frequently due to the feedback i would (maybe) receive. And thanks to very recent painting frenzy I had, I even have some photos too to show. So, without further ado, pics:

Although the white didn't turn as good as I would've liked to, I'm still rather pleased with the result. The twin tailed comet on the other hand was a great succes in my opinion(I took reference from somebodys banner here in W-E. The topics name was "freehanding twin tailed comet?" or something along those lines)

Well that's all this time folks, I apology for the low quality of the pics as they were taken inside with a normal lamplight, because of the lack of natural light as I mentioned in the beginning of this post.

Now just waiting to get some comments & criticism from my fellow empire generals
