I haven't got any WIP pics of the Jeagercorps. They were done during a time when I had no camera (except the very crappy one in my phone). But I could tell a bit in ordinary text, like in the old days

The models have been made from ordinary plastics, with a lot of shaving to get better more dynamic poses. The bits themselves come from almost every plastic set GW has produced for the Empire. I've used legs from the Soldiers of the Empire box, Militia box and from the last range (both the ranged and closecombat boxes) On that I stuk torsos from different sets, but I tried to avoid bits with too much armour as that would be too much of a problem for scouting units operating deep in the forest, and need speed, silence and cunning. Not massive protective plates that only happer your movement. To get the models guns in the right position you need to do quite a lot of cutting of the joints between the legs and torso, the legs have been post for 'fighting moves' not shooting or skirmisch, stalkish walking moves.
Now for the guns, you could buy 10 boxes of handgunner/crossbow units, but... this would cost you a serious load of money... You could also make your own guns. Now, the guns form the new set are best for this. So get all the guns you can hold of. And check them for usage. They should either be shooting or resting it, or the loose ones that you can stick on the back of your models, while they are toting their other guns and weapons. You could also use the crossbow pieces (I tried this method first but I like the gun conversion better)
Now you need to get the 'action feel' or the shooting feel. For both have their merids, first check what the legs look try some bits out, which one shows 'action' and which one shows 'shooting' best. Also if it looks cool but it does not fit, don't be afraid to shave of bits to try if it looks better. You probably have enough of the same bit to mess it up once (or twice, or trice....)
Now get the brass rod ready for action. First cut of the tip of the gun, now drill a hole the size of your rod (this should be a bit smaller then the normal plastic barrel of course) and glue a piece of rod into it. Now drill a hole in the back of the cut of end of the barrel on the 'wrong side' and glue this piece to the brass rod. Now you have given it a proper gunbarrel look. If you like you could also drill a small hole in the real barrel end like I've done.
Now get the grim, veteran look heads out, again I used bits from all boxes. Ones I liked and thought gave the specific model the 'right look' Finally it's detailing. The all need powder bags or something like that, as they are using gunpowder weapons. Beside that be moderate with the extras. They are all champions, but not freight donkeys. I added a handweapon here, an armourplate there, a waterbottle somewhere else and of course capes, for camouflage...
