First empire attempt

Hi guys, thought I'd post my first try at painting an empire figure, the General in my WIP Altdorf army. He still has a little bit further to go like eyes and  touching up the cloak but I'm liking the colours so far.







Let me know what you think and if there is any advice  :biggriin:

Only the purple on the cloak at the moment. I've got quit a lot of the old paints and wanted to use them first so I hope their new equivalents match them enough for consistency  :icon_lol:

I like, it certainly makes this guy look better than I thought.

Still, I doubt I would get him for my own army, I might pick him up for display though, or a diorama.

Quick update, finally finished the general, really like how he turned out and can't wait to paint an entire army  :biggriin:

Your General (captain) looks great! I really like how you have done the cape and the sword!

And I'm really looking forward on how you will do the WPoU as it's one of the few character models I have done myself.

Excellent job on the general.  He looks SHARP and that purple, while awesome, is playing second fiddle to your very clean, very crisp white.  High Five!

This is a well painted project, I especially like the captain  :happy:
Just watch out when it comes to getting more halberdiers and ranking them up...
It's nice to see Ulric priests and Sigmar priests together  :::cheers:::
