That's awesome Aldaris, and the sword looks a beauty as well. As someone who dabbles in leatherwork its so impressive to see what a real master can turn out.

That is just one amazing, fabulous looking scabbard there Aldaris! It's just so beautiful.

Do you know how long it took? And what style sword?

wow I totally pictured many of you different lol  :::cheers:::

I continue to picture you with a tin foil hat always on, regardless of where you are or what your doing.

HAHAHA  whoa do you have a camera in my house??  :-P

Nah I rely on my agents.

Our apologies. We'll dispatch Agent Poutine to clean up the mess. Canadian Agents should never leave a scent behind. That would be so impolite!

Another event as a petty constable, acquiring lodgings and victuals for King George's soldiers.

I think this pic is better than the one in the castle. Almost looks like a scene from a film!

If he paints more figures, writes more stories, and ... fasts while doing it ... the weight is sure to be reduced.

Not that this is the thread for it, but I've been struggling to keep my weight down all year.  That metabolism just isn't what it once was.

Beer is, beyond a doubt, the culprit. Beer is my nemesis, an evil villain. It has superpowers I cannot withstand, and lures me into its wicked schemes on a weekly basis. Mind you, that said, in an effort to cut down, I have just had nearly two weeks without beer (although I did have two glasses of wine). I am missing it, and every night I think "Maybe I could pop up the road for a little pint?"

I had some very good German beer this past weekend, but a rarely go for less than two glasses of wine, and I'm told that isn't good for me either.

I don't normally stop at two glasses of wine. The reason I mentioned it is because I had them during the ten days I was trying not to have any alcohol. There seems to be some limits to my self-control. Maybe I should give in and go for a pint tonight?

What drink best represents W-E? Some kind of stout? Some kind of Liquor?

Clearly whatever represents the Back Table is probably some form of Tequila, or something that leaves you frothing at the mouth and ready to brawl.

The big pewter tankard on the table in the picture ... that's mine. You can fit more than one pint of beer in it. In conclusion, thus my belly.

Thanks Gankom, hard to believe our daughter hasn't even turned one yet and the clan is expanding again.
