Did you take an actual model to create that or is that how it came?

Several years ago, I wanted to make a gag diorama of a sentinel pilot and ATST driver comparing notes

Great work here! Especially the Clone Wars era models. Lovely job with the galactic marines.

That is how it came. Thanks for the feedback, all!

Picked up my copy of Star Wars Legion: Clone Wars from the post office.  I ordered it last Friday with my 40K Indomitus box set, with both arriving in the same box yesterday.

First impressions ...

Rules don't look difficult.  Thank goodness for the instructions on the droids, because even with those, creating all those figures is going to a be a project by itself.  However, it seems plenty of room for customizing them with so many parts.  I like the looks co the counters, nice and colorful.  The dice are interesting, mostly 8 sided dice, although some 6 sided, so this will be different.  The plastic tray inside the box seems like a good addition to include, but well see how that works out further down the line.

I think the rules are pretty straightforward, but it will take some time (at least for me) to figure out all of the synergies.

In the meantime, I have added some new models to my painting list. First up is Jedi Knight Luke:

My issue at the moment is where to put building the droids into the hobby queue. Along with the rest of the box. :icon_wink: :icon_lol:

The droids sure are fiddly, but not as bad as the plastic spirit hosts were for Warhammer. So there's that! Good luck.

When I saw how many parts there were for the droids, the sprues went back into the box quickly. :icon_wink: :icon_lol:

However, it seems to make them very customizable, so that is a good thing.  I just can't see starting the project currently.  Especially when I am in the middle of gluing so many 28mm Perry Wars of the Roses figures, and I am having my fill of gluing at the moment!

I hear that. I have some Khorne and Nurgle models for Warhammer Quest that have been on the shelf for some time now because I am focusing on other things.

A few years ago I tried painting Hasbro star wars Command miniatures. In hind sight it was a bad idea as there was almost no variety in the range and most of the paints didn't work well with the plastic

That's too bad! It looks like a decent range of models.

So I painted a few more rebels, these of the alien variety.

I did manage to find a Jabba the Hutt keychain figureine that was the same scale and he was no trouble to paint. I guess it was the plastic used on him.
The Jabba mini also fills in for a great unclean one on occasion

Nice! I love those sorts of serendipitous finds.

So I finished Iden Versio and ID-10 the other day, and here they are. Versio came with a few different configurations (sniper rifle, carbine, or blaster rifle, helmet or no helmet) and I used an old Empire head as well so the figure could be used as a generic character for the RPG.

Cool!  Nice to see the Empire heads on some of your figures too.

The local hobby shop I went into yesterday had lots of Star Wars Legion figures and accessories.  I walked past the line up on purpose, since I already had a set of gobos on wolfs and some paint that I was on the way to the counter to purchase.  I'd already decided not to buy the KIllteam starter set with Space Wolfs, Tau, and terrain. :icon_lol:

Now that school has started up again my pace is slowing down, but I did manage to finish a few things this weekend.

Here is BB-11, nicknamed "Bullseye." The model is part of a Legion-scale X-Wing kit.

And here is the Command Post from Imperial Terrain.

That's what I'm hoping too. Speaking of which, here are the two hostages from the Vital Assets expansion. I think they'd make great RPG characters too.
