The cards will be printed in the magazine itself, I'm afraid, much like Fyreslayerrs and Lumineth.

So they'll have to be photocopied and cut.  Just like the old days. :icon_wink: :icon_lol:

If its like the last time they did this, the "cards" are inside the magazine and you can scan or photocopy them to bring your own copies. Essentially just expanding the roster of war cry warbands. Kind of like the free army lists they use to put out in the previous White Dwarfs.

Think I'll buy a copy of the printed White Dwarf for the info.  First time in I don't know how long, but it's been a darn good while.

Thanks for the heads up!  Not much to go on, kind of a teaser, not surprising though since they want to sell the magazine, I'm sure.

Wondering if the issue is already out, seems it is being sold on their website.  Going to call a local store or two.

Turns out a local store said they have received their copies, and it might be on sale Friday, may not be on sale until Saturday.

So, some exciting news for Cities of Sigmar with the new Broken Realms supplement dropping soon...

Just going off the table of contents, "Free City Battle Traits" may allow for more army home-brewing, which the Cities battletome lamentably lacked (according to the designer interview I watched on Twitch, they wanted to include it, but decided to focus on their canon cities instead). One of those cities, Anvilgard, features quite prominently, both here and in the latest Soulbound AOSRPG supplement by Cubicle 7.  Broken Realms also introduces two satellite cities of Anvilgard, Misthavn and Har Kuron. Also, Battleplan: Fall of Anvilgard is... foreboding...

Questions ...

So who has this book, and how's  it lookin" :icon_question:

Since Huntsmen kit, Knights box, and cannon/mortar can't be bought anymore, are they even in the book :icon_question:

- - -

Also, in beginning to inventory my Empire figures, got curious as to what is still being sold.  Definitely want to pick up some boxes just in case any of these gets discontinued.

Noticed that Crossbows and Handgunners are being sold in separate boxes.  In the old days the bodies were on one sprue and the crossbows and handguns on another, so did they really change the sprues :icon_question:

Volley gun and Rocket launcher are out of stock, hope that doesn't mean they are booting them.

What is being sold? Go to the GW site, choose AoS, Armies of Order, Cities of Sigmar, and check the 'Human' box under Race. Or follow this link:
https://www.games-workshop.com/en-FI/Warhammer-Age-of-Sigmar?N=1110790332+2126153029+78046592&Nr=AND%28sku.siteId%3AFI_gw%2Cproduct.locale%3Aen_FI_gw%29&Nrs=collection%28%29%2Frecord%5Bproduct.startDate+%3C%3D+1615315140000+and+product.endDate+%3E%3D+1615315140000%5D
(I think this link's got the Finnish/EU pricing.)

They're the same box/sprues, just listed twice. Nowadays GW lists their products according to the unit choices in the books. Same thing with 40K, several different entries for what is actually one box.

And no 'Available to Order' box comes with its original box, I believe. They come in a generic white GW box. This is the reason why you can see some old, intact 7th/8th ed boxes go for high prices in eBay, even if the minis are still in production. (Or people just don't know, and cannot search, because unit names have changed in AoS.)

I was so pleased they finally gave "the little people" some love, it's the only collector's edition Battletome I've bought thus far. My army is based on tiger_g's Valencia family from the old Animosity campaigns, reinvented for Age of Sigmar. I would eventually like to build three Freeguild armies:

Vito Valencia, with an all-Gryph cavalry force. General on Griffon, Battlemage on Griffon, at least two lances of Demigryph Knights, and then a bunch of Gryph-Hounds.

Vicardo Valencia, with an all-Steam Tank force, backed up by a 40-strong mob of union-buster thugs (old militia kit led by the old Mordheim witch hunter model)

Volodymyr Valencia, with a combined-arms army of blocks of Halberdiers, Pistoliers, and Hellblaster/Rocket artillery batteries.

... but I already have a whole stack of army projects ahead of them, so we'll when all that actually happens! As it stands, I have a start on all of them, but nothing fieldable above 1k points.

No, they are not.

Nope, still the same dual-build kit.

No- if they were getting the axe, it would say "no longer available", rather than "temporarily out of stock". I just checked and it looks like they're back, so they must have done another run of them.

The thread started yesterday, but it's great to see some close-ups of those units to really show them off.

I'm really liking the mixed race Hammerers and shadow warrior guys  :::cheers:::
