Good! I hope its pre end of times.. But none the less I am soooo happy.  I heard there will only be 4 races in this release: Empire, Dwarves, Orcs and Goblins and Vampire Counts.

Based on that video, I'd be surprised if Chaos sat this out. They'll at least get some kind of dl'd expansion or somesuch.
Much like Communism, a level three wizard is a waste of everyone's time and will, in due course, fail miserably.

It has been confirmed pre-end times by a CA employee on the Facebook warhammer fantasy group.

Light Wizard turning to chaos.   Egrimm van Horstmann?  Is that Baudros, or a Lord of Change at the end?   to me looks more like Kairos Fateweaver.
That would set it 75-50 years before The End Times.

On the other hand, it clearly shows Karl-Franz on Deathclaw, so it could be in the years leading up to or including The End Times.

Of no doubt it's before the rift is opened at Middenheim by Archaon

And in the first expansion will be the Bretonnia faction, yes? I mean, they didn't get book and all in the real world . . .

Why is the video so blurry? Oh wait, that's from the tears of joy in my eyes. :biggriin:

Besides looking amazing I'm also really happy to hear rumors stating two stand alone expansions that include the other races.

I am disappointed there was no gameplay footage. I hate cutscene trailers. However, at least the game is real.

I hope it comes with a free miniature like Dark Omen did back in the day! I still regret trading that model with my cousin.

Come now sir, no need to make up fibs.

We all know that is not true. The latest word on the street, is you have to individually photograph each model in your collection in front of the GW paints, glues, and tools you used to assemble them.

Then you divide the number of photo by 2 and those are the units you will be allow to access in game.

After five years away from the game and five years away from w-e, I just had to pop back to remark on this. It is my every dream come true. I'm so excited I'm sorely tempted to buy this on release, even if it is inevitably going to be a buggy mess day one.

As a Total War fan, I'm excited to see how the game formula works with big heroes playing big roles on the battlefield, not to mention mythic creatures and demons of all description. The factions would be unique and there could be sub-factions of every big faction. Bloodline wars, anyone? Playing as Nuln? Night Gobbos? Even if they don't go down that road, simply having a Total War game that's defined by five power blocs in already settled land instead of dozens of minor factions has huge potential.

As a Warhammer fan, I'm just excited about... everything, wow. The game is headlined by the Empire, Orcs, Dwarves, VC and Chaos, some of my favorite factions, and has absolutely massive potential for expansions, which Creative Assembly is very attached to. This could be Fantasy's Dawn of War. A real breakout AAA video game that could be so successful it impacts the tabletop game for the better.
What's up with that Phillyt guy... he's not what I would call '' pleasant''.

I'm so friggin' happy right now. Of course I know that TW games have been shite as of late, but this has potential. This trailer is even better than the one for Warhammer: Online and I love the fact that it's A) pre-End Times and B) will (maybe, I hope so) future special characters like Karl Franz and Mannfred Von Carstein. We can see them both on screen. :)

This is it guys, the game we've all been waiting for. Let's just hope that it'll be worth it. :)

what miniature did it come with?

The miniature it came with was this old school necromancer - I thought it was a big deal at the time however traded it away when I was 14 and left the hobby. Regretted when I was in my twenties and got back into it.
