Reporting Blood Bowl, Mordheim, Warmaster, Man O' War etc.
« on: July 04, 2007, 05:09:43 PM »
Greetings,

Basicly this is an outline for reporting games from the Specialist Games for the campaign....

1. Blood Bowl - This is a great game, and comes in handy especially when facing 'Good' forces like HE, WE, LM, Dwarfs etc. Basicly just say you didn't want tons of blood shed between the armies, came to the decision to play Blood Bowl to see who gets what objective and then both sides honored it. I've already done this against Dwarfs and High Elves and it's worked great. Oh, also report it as a 0-500 points game
Finally, mention it as the 'Blood Bowl experiment' as that's what I entitled it and reported to 'General Helstrom'.

2. Mordheim - This is also a great game which i've played in the Campaign already. Basicly your force could be anything from Scouts to Treasure Hunters to Foragers for your army. Just report it as 0-500 oints and your fine.

3. Warmaster - While I haven't played it myself (ever) all you'd need to do is report it as the largest points size possible and you're fine.

4. Man'o'War - Again, while I haven't played it just follow you logical reasonings. If it's with 5 ships on either side go for 2000 points, with 30 go higher. Just be logical with it.

5. Warhammer Role Play - If you play this game i'm sure you can report it well. Just make it 0-500 points.

Are there any more games out there?

Well, judge it out. Did you kill/get killed to the man? Did it end off being really close, but one person won?

Use your common sense. Make sure you ask the other person though, so that both parties know.

I like the breakdown you give and some interesting origination in #1.  However reporting WFRP seems iffy to me.  Maybe if you are playing in a campaign setting involving the nemesis crown.  It just doesn't seem right in my opinion to post it.

Warhammer quest is another game. They dont make it any more, and i doubt that many people play it these days, but its good fun though. Basically going through a dungeon with a group of 4 warriors vs a horde of beasties, with various small objectives and puzzles to complete.

Dont know how this would be reported. Maybye set a time limit in number of turns, if you complete it really fast then its a massacre, if you dont do the objective or complete it too slow its a loss and so on.

Good idea this Jerok. Its dumb that GW havent spoken up about it, but hey ho.
