Looking forward to it.  Really wasn't happy the way they dropped it.  There was still a lot of material to get into.
Me and Wissenlander had babies!

I'm looking forward to it, especially if they tie up some plot threads and lead it into rebels. I enjoyed rebels a fair bit. There was enough stuff that felt like adult level story telling without going over board or spoiling it.

Not sure why they stopped it anyway - was really going places.

If memory serves me, they ended it because of the Disney acquisition.  Once it changed hands they wanted to establish their own story and hired most of the key people from CW to do Rebels.  With Rebels ending, being popular, and bringing back CW characters in it; it was only a matter of time before they picked it back up.  I think what's so shocking is there was no warning to the announcement.

CW always kinda had an end point.  I thought the series finale dovetailed into Order 66 quite well.  Getting to close to the movie start risked the usual canon issues.  Didn't think there was much time left between them.

Anyone hear anything else on the SW - The Resistance?  I haven't even seen a trailer beyond "hey something new is coming this fall"

Yeah, I think TV show setting after RotJ would be more exciting actually. Animated is fine with me.
