TOW Palette by fbjorn
« on: January 14, 2025, 03:06:41 PM »
Greetings, all old and new friends of the Empire.
Last time I posted something was in 2016, so it has been a while.
I hade a painting blog here in The Bruch and Palette, more specifically here http://www.warhammer-empire.com/theforum/index.php?topic=28572

Thanks to TOW I have picked up the brush again, and it's really fun to be painting again.
The old blog images are all watermarked with Photobucket, so I decide to start a new thread here.
And I didn't really want to resurrect that old thing anyway.

The theme will be TOW and mostly Empire, but there may show up some other things. I have for instance started to play some D&D as well.
I may also repost some old Empire units, but with new or adapted TOW bases. The impression is slightly different with the larger bases, and I also like to take some new pictures of them.

I hope you will enjoy the blog, I'm sure I will.

Feedback, tips and suggestions are always appreciated  :::cheers:::

/Fredrik

First out is Balthasar Gelt, which has been laying around unassembled and unpainted for years.

Thanks Noigrim8!

Next one is 12 Empire Knights. They were converted and assembled, and the command group was painted 8 years ago.
It feels really satisfying to finally complete the unit.

Nice work!  I love your not knights of the white wolf. I want to do something similar, have cavalry hammers but a different flavor. What’s your backstory for your knights?  What order are they?

Great job. I've rarely ever seen so much effort put into bases
