Selling them seems like a sacrilege... Awesome collection.

I know , but collecting can become a psychological issue i think , LOL

I'm instead embarking on collecting and painting armies,

as you have seen , i so far have HE, Empire, WOC and OnG...

About 2000 models , all painted , LOL

I'm instead embarking on collecting and painting armies,

You could have one or two armies there, and many more warbands in many skirmish games.

But I understand the psychological issue, having mindless heaps of nice models in my lockers...

I can justify having one of every army ever made !

It's practical and supports gaming ,

it's not

If ay1 wants to buy the entire collection of Travelling Players, you can see my pic of them on page 1 of this PLOG,

I get what you mean. I also have a lot of unpainted and unassembled models in my possession, for almost every army. I was actually thinking about selling my Space Marines, but they are my first army, so the attachement is too strong... even tough I don't play them.

Curiously enough, I'm currently considering selling painted gaming armies rather than the stuff I "just" collect... maybe we swapped psychological issues?  :icon_wink:

To be fair to myself, this is because I'd like to clear the decks a bit, and I'm considering turning some of that collection into gaming armies - I have more minis than I could ever paint, but it's time I started on some of them!

Would love to own some of your stuff, but I really don't have that money to spend. Hopefully good homes await.

There's more stuff than just Stormcast you know.

Sorry to hear about you selling your collection, by the way. Hope they find a good home.  :-)

On one hand I agree with Chumley about their looks and names, but I have to say that these new Stormacast scouts look really nice! Also the Dwarfs (proper Dwarfs!) are coming to AoS, and I'm really interested to see how GW handled them. I love that faction.

Don't get me wrong, much of the new stuff is amazing, especially the Chaos ...

I just don't like the Angelic Storm Cast Eternal Sigmarine Captain Aquafresh and his Tooth brish Crossbowmen faction , :)

Oh yeah, I understand what you guys mean but it just seems silly to focus on one faction's flaws when there's so many other great armies to look at. Maybe my mind just works weird? :-P

Looking forward to the dwarfs as well, we've been needing a airship model for a long time now. Or at least since the spirit of Grungni story.

Like the Free Peoples? Oh right, there aren't any new figures for them yet.

Sorry, I'm with Chumley on this, I can't stand the storm cast eternal crudders.  Folks can do a terrific job painting them and making them look better, but I'm just so totally not interested in the fundamental look.  Don't even mention the fluff, and they don't exist in my fantasy world.

Chumley ... I blame you for getting me started. :icon_lol:

Considering their current profits I think that team got a raise.  :-D

The warrior priest from the Silver Tower doesn't count?

Anyway, mixed blessing. We'll get something new eventually but when we do it'll probably replace the current range so at least there's time for people to get their Empire models.

One figure does not a collection of new figures make.
