Topic: HOORAH! Eurobash 2017 - The 10th Anniversary Edition

This is advance warning of the dates for next year's Eurobash so you can all start planning now. Soth has confirmed the dates that work best for him, An, and the club.



The 2017 Bash will be held on:

Saturday April 29th, Sunday April 30th and Monday May 1st

The Monday is "May Day" and a Public Holiday in Belgium, as well as most of Europe.

So Travelling Friday April 28th and probably going home Tuesday May 2nd

Usual Venue - HQ Club at St Niklaas, Belgium.



We plan to book a number of twin rooms BEFORE Christmas, for the full 4-night stay (Friday to Monday inclusive).
Those rooms will be allocated to people as they confirm they will definitely be coming. Once those rooms are filled it will be pot luck if there are still vacancies at the IBIS or we will look at the 'New Flanders' hotel as back-up.


  IBIS Hotel pricing confirmed for 2017 as same as last year:

65 euro, single room, includes breakfast
78 euro, TWIN room, includes breakfast for two.
 




Last year we each paid 60 euros total for the 4 evening meals. The only other costs were maybe a lunchtime snack and of course the odd (?) beer ........................




I will edit and amend this post as any new info comes along, and feel free to post your intentions and likely attendance below.

As it is the 10th year running we are hoping that it will be a bit special with the return of some people who haven't been for a while, and maybe some new faces who keep talking up attending only to fade away in the end ............................

But theoretically, could my girlfriend and maybe my youngest son come with me if it would become possible?

It is really more of a boys night out weekend...


That said, Novogord brings his girl as well, but since she is a regular visitor of the club AND plays MtG, she can let him play his games while playing that herself. And of course there is my An, who just slaves away to feed all the troops....

I am also considering bringing my gf, so maybe we can arrange a gf table with a bunch of shoe magazines?  (JUST KIDDING)  . My gf has the willingness to try games, and really wants to join me on this trip (last year I join her family trip), but if you dont play games there is not much else to do. Dinner/breakfast is always fun for everyone, but you have to play.

Anyone else traveling from the south? Maybe we could join up and travel together (Freiburg, Germany)

I will commit to one bed for me, and later this week I will confirm if another one is needed.

Atm if anyone wants or is willing to share a ride to St Niklaas, we could share the costs. Hopefully someone that lives in a easy to reach city by train/busses. Only me, if gf does decide to come then driving is not only easier/cheaper but will allow her freedom to do non-bash activities.
