I am out. Sorry guys!

That's ok. As long as James is coming.

Haha, well you did insist I tell him he could do other things next time... very clever as we know!

I'll be going to the US for my sister's wedding, so this year will be yet another "valmir wants to come but ends up failing to come" year...

i'm probably going to america for my cousin's wedding in between these dates so might be tricky again this year :(

Finlay... are we cousins?!

I’ll probably pop by.
The 30th of May sounds much better than the usual May holiday date for me.

I've had a couple of games - which is more than anything else of a large scale for a few years now - and went 1-1. Both games result were about flanking, but that may have been both of us being mainly old 6th Edition players.I may look at 9th Age, but I don't get a lot of opportunity to play games at the moment, and the simplicity of a small number of movement tray sizes, with the fact casualties stay on the tray, and as 023 says you can easily use my old Empire figures makes it attractive and I want to play more.

I'd like to give this more of a chance too.

I'm trying to get an extra guest to the Eurobash to delve into this. Would you all be prepared to prepare an army to give this a go ?
Again, my collection can be used for this purpose.

Well basically KoW works with unit sizes of 10/20/40 and so it's pretty close to 6th Edition anyway.

I am working on my Empire units to suit either rules set - just bringing movement trays to switch where I need an infantry 4 x 6

So Ratman (Ronald) and also a good possibility on Gobboman (Harold) to be joining the weekend of the 30th may.
Got one more line out.

Also Ronald jested at asking our local club / whatsapp group to join us, but I wasn't so sure you guys would want an invasion of 5-10 unknown Frisian heretics to come along  :biggriin:

Could everyone take a look at that again please?

When do we need to commit to going? Looks fairly likely I'll be able to come after missing last year, but things are still a bit crazy.

Interested in 6th Ed, KoW or t9a - I'll try to get some VC/undead sorted by then. My brain can't handle the rules for all three over one weekend though. Could bring some 40k as well (although only have around 1.5k of chaos). And I'll bring a warband for frostgrave and mordheim.

I plan on booking rooms in Januari to make sure there are enough available.
No other commitment is needed, but if no accomodation is free, that is your own problem then.

What are the fucking chances?

The weekend of 30th May / 1st June is not an option for me.

Sorry. If it’s that date then I will have to abstain.

It's disappointing that two of our regulars cannot make it this year   -     Realjuan and Mrs Realjuan

Ok - I meant Realjuan and Shav really.
Not that we will not miss Mrs Realjuan as she is far better company than the other two anyway ………………..

Would anyone be interessed in a campaign of 6th edition Warhammer?
It just something a little organised?

Well we'll use one of those hex maps and the organiser will choose the best position for himself, and introduce other rules that make sure he wins ………….

Oh No - we've done that already.

Something to encourage the participants to play Warhammer again at the Eurobash?
Going from something on hex maps to something like a friendly tournament?

Nah. Eurobash can never be a competition. That's the whole concept. But play a couple games of 6th ? Sure !
