Show us your..."book club" minis
« on: July 28, 2010, 09:20:52 AM »
A friend of mine started what he called the "book club"  for a while, he only collected minis that had a book open on it.  Then he started collecting minis with any book on it.  (Open or closed.)  So, show us your book club minis.

They turn up on ebay all the time (theres 4 on ebay at the moment) and they range from going for dead cheap to really expensive. Depends when you look I suppose.

That is sweet.  Is it one of the old familiars that GW put out a long time ago?

This guy ( with a book ) could pass as an engineer, couldn't he?

There ya go Steve, new unit idea the Emperor's Library Brigade!  A whole unit of "Librarians" each using a massive book for a weapon, (or 2 smaller books) count as Free Co. or Flaggies!

My war-altar. Haven't really played Empire in 8.th ed. yet, and chariots did not like str. 7 hits in 7.th ed. so I'm looking forward to playing with it and not having my bastard friends instant-killing it.
