Saw a review and it seems like a decent game system.

Rules have been significantly redone, with basic and advanced versions.  Apparently different teams don't have access to the same weapons.  Alternating activation system.  Combat similar to 40K 8th edition.  Morale different.  Tactical cards for each side, and some similar, some not.

So overall it's an improvement over the last edition. Good to know. :)

I'm more interested in it than before.

So now after months of this game being out, anyone played it and have a view point regarding it :icon_question:

I've had a few small practice games and enjoyed it. I know my store was holding off on a campaign until a few more gangs were out. Now we've got more gangs I think we'll start one soon, likely after one of the current ones ends.

I've heard it can be unbalanced, but I've also heard it's balanced fine. From just my handful of practice games it seems to work okay and I didn't notice anything unbalanced, but we were playing with pretty basic stuff.

Anyone else given it a go? We're using a custom version of Necromund that fixes a lot of the inconsistencies and shoddy work in the GW rules.

First game, my ganger lost an eye.

Second game, same ganger loses his second eye.

Now I have a blind dwarf running around with a chainsaw.
I agree with the inhumane treatment of animals.

Sounds a little bit like Mordheim.

Thanks for the link to the rules with amendments.  It is a game I haven't yet played, although imagine it's fun.

Well, Mordheim is WHFB's version of Necromunda. The games have always been janky, so you pretty much need house rules/fan rules to have any semblance of balance, even with the latest version.

Only downside is that you need to lug around loads of terrain if you don't have it on premise.
