For Sigmar! FOR THE EMPIRE! - Mathi goes to war again
« on: September 23, 2023, 11:01:05 AM »
This may not be the proper place for this post but I will post it here any way claiming Sigmar day so.

Tomorrow, on sunday, my new Empire army will march to waragainst the vile vampire counts.
We use Warhammer Armies Project rules but my hope is thar in the future I will be able to field them in Warhammer The Old World.

So my 2000 point army look like this:

General:
Arch Lector Mattheus Alfblut
(He is of course wearing his blessed kettle hat)

Heroes:
Captain Hanz Shattenfuerst - BSB

Meistrum Ridikull - lv2 Fire wizard

Father Kane - Warrior priest of Morr
(He rides a White horse named Binky)

Core
Mattheus mates
33 Halberdiers with Full command
(Mattheus leads them)

Rote Wulfen
24 Swordsmen with Full command
(Hanz here)

Bietdorf Standschutzen
12 Crossbows with Champion and musician

Kanes vagabond
12 Handgunners with Champion with Hochland long rifle

Special
Great Cannon

Mortar

10 Huntsmen

10 Inner circle Knights of Morr
Oh, and remember GW made it personal, not you!

Alas, the lost art of reading (a, no!, THE sign of the digital times) even afflicts commandant.

I blame the children these days. I fear I know not these rules so I'm not much help but my first question wouls be why are the handgunners etc not detachments of the halberdiers?

maybe in those rules (like in 8th), detachments can't take command upgrades but Mathi really, really wanted them. The possibilities are endless.  :icon_rolleyes:

True, though I am a big fan of detachments. We are paying for them after all
