Thanks Cisse, I'll update the list to have it represent it correctly (if it was only for my own OCD twitch)  :biggriin:

The game was indeed awesome, and that devilfish was indeed one of the best moments!

Versus Cisse's Astra Militarum
https://wargamingbysks.wordpress.com/2018/06/01/tau-versus-astra-militarum-eurobash-battlereport/

Here's some corrections to my list should you need it:
all organised in company and vanguard detachments
HQ
- Company Commander
- 1 Leman Russ tank commander with plasma executioner, plasma sponsons
- 1 Leman Russ tank commander with punisher gatling, heavy bolters
HEAVY
- 1 Leman Russ with battle cannon, heavy bolters
- Basilisk
- Basilisk
TROOPS
- 6 teams of Cadian Shocktroops (3 teams with lascannons, 3 teams with flamers)
FAST
- armoured sentinel with plasma
- armoured sentinel with lascannons
- hellhound
ELITE
- 5 Tempestus Scions with 2 melta guns (or plasma, can't remember)
- 5 Ratlings
- 5 Ratlings
- 1 squad of veterans with 3 plasma guns in a chimera with heavy flamer
- platoon commander with power sword
- platoon commander with plasma pistol
- psyker

Great game indeed! Scary firepower from your list and those drones are pest to get through to kill the real "meat" of your list. Once they were mostly gone, my own firepower had it a lot easier to do damage.

Funniest moment, me taking out your devilfish which exploded and killed a company commander, my veterans, and put wounds on my tanks.
Units of the match for me, my tanks - from the standard Leman Russ on my right which did sterling work the entire game to the Executioner Commander (which lived up to its name), and finally the Basilisks - excellent firepower which can strike everywhere you need it.

That's weird our local GW store gave away a new Sequitor model for the release of AoS2, not another old Liberator.

Which is also needed as the damn new box includes 8! Sequitors.. Ones that need to be fielded in multiples of 3

They got most of that cartoon right. Except for the 'small apartment' bit. I have a two story, five bedroom house :biggriin:

The halberdiers march to the beat...

Lovely work!
I really love the purple (almost deep purple). What colours do you use for it?

Thank you. I use some (US) craft paints that I found as a replacement once my really old (late '80s) GW paints ran out. I think they were Imperial and Worm Purple. Not sure if it's any use to anyone outside the I'll see if I can take a pic of the paints later.

Beautiful!

All of the individual pieces were amazing on their own. Seeing it all come together is just amazing.

If I had the money I would catch a plane and be there with you guys, totally inspirational.

^^^ My thoughts exactly!

7
Absolutely amazing what you guys are doing!

What an amazing board.

Let the slaughter commence.

@BAWTRM, I only beat you by about 24 hours! Just got to be that little bit quicker on the draw. I was worried Feanor would have posted it already.

Meanwhile Fidelis comes in here posting the scroll of FILTHY LIES! I need a great many more models, and painting the ones I have will only slow down the addictive collecting.
