Brother Vinni's models are awesome!

Very nice, no flash, no mess, well fitting, detail as good as GW,

better than 6th ed plastics by far

I love the last model but can't get over his hat, it just looks like is balancing and if he moves he will lose it. I preferred the model without it...

Nice thanks guys, it was late last night and I tried to chissel into the hat with a drill , lol.

This morning I have instead performed surgery on the back of his head with a knife!

I removed some brains, and made the hat sit better!

Also added some nice details, like gold swords handle etc.

Hope this is liked?

I like the short sword !

If it was me I would much rather have a Roman style short sword in combat.

You can wield it better and faster, and use it to stab.

Thanks to Steve B , he shipped me 39 Halberds from Battlemasters!

Speed painting , Nordland scheme , here is the 1st offering..

Took 1.5 hours.

I want to assemble 50 for gaming , speed painted , so quality is not great , just tabletop standard

Chum,

Are you going for a headswap for those guys? Halberd swap? I think they might look great just with these 2 changes but I am not sure how feasible it is (never seen this mini in real life).

I wish I could get hold of a box of 30 Altdorf halberds, I missed a bid on a box a few months ago, couldn't wake up on time...

The Altdorf ones are different to the Battlemasters , the BM ones have a fixed shield.

It's gonna be tough to remove the heads , I might try!
