Deathwatch Overkill box set
« on: September 24, 2016, 07:18:34 PM »
Just out now. 50 models and I really like the Dark Angel! $200.00 doesn't seem that crazy either.

Thats been out a while now but they have just realised the genesteeler cult army codex and models. Multi week realse with a new vehicle for them and access to guard units

There are 40 different shades of black, so many fortresses and ways to attack.

So why you complaining!

Nice typo in the thread title though. :icon_biggrin:

Though on Tallarn, "Dearthwatch" may well be a job description.

Nah, you gave a good opportunity to talk about the Genestealer release :-)

I quite like the Neophytes. Good generic villains for a post-apoc scenario, like the plastic Chaos cultists.

GW is getting back on track.

The new vehicle is lovely looking. Depending on hp, AV and points I'll be getting one for Kill Team. I got enough cultists at the moment from Overkill, but in the future it's likely I'll buy a box for variety in weapons.

I thought he should act responsibly and just kill himself.

The neophytes are amazing. Not sold on acolytes. I waiting to see the codex and other releases. I have just bought the deathwatch book and some veterans in a pod to paint first before committing to another force.

They are nice though. So tempting

This would go really well with an Adeptus Arbites release.

The neophytes are amazing. Not sold on acolytes.

Same here, and they're too expensive in my book.

Man it has been a fantastic couple of releases. Half my wish list is Deathwatch, especially that corvus , and now these guys looks good as well. I don't care as much about the acoyltes and the heavy genestealer guys, but the rest have a ton of uses. In kill team, in traitor guard, abhumans in regular guard, etc.

A little conversion and that new vehicle would make a great battles wagon 😊

I go a step further. The Neophytes are Skitarii level good. "these are so good they make me want to collect the army" good.

The Acolytes are absolutely terrible and certainly the worst GW models I can think of since the chain wielding demons in end of times.
They're like someones looked at some 80s art work of them, been given the brief.... then just 100% copied the 80s art work.
I don't care about the rules.

Pass the machete.

Agreed.
I agree with the inhumane treatment of animals.

I think both the neophytes and acolytes look great.

I did skitarrii ranger headswaps on my acolytes from overkill and they make great mechanicus henchmen; now trying to decide whether to get the tank - it has this fantastic total recall vibe going on "man ive got five kids to feed"
