Tactical Decision Game 5.0: Community Thread
« on: January 19, 2013, 03:55:00 PM »
Map:  I will place a Battle Chronicler Map on page 1 of the Community thread and update this as we go in addition to pictures.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Two normal Hills in opposite corners, with east edges as scree slopes.  Ruins in SW corner is an Acropolips of Heroes (Stubborn).  Two normal Woods, medium size in Center, Large in NE corner.  House (2 Story) has a sliver out of 12" deployment zone to prevent occupation at set-up for Battleline.  Fence at edge of Ruin (there is a wall on the map, but normal Ruins rules apply, can be moved through) and a long fence line near the NE Forest.

I'll post both lists shortly.  I will place both lists on all three threads, so they will always be on page one for reference.

Then we'll roll for Scenario.  Weighting to Battleline, Meeting Engagement, or Blood and Glory.

Then for sides and folks can start planning...

Rolled 3 on D3.  So we will play Meeting Engagement.

Empire rolled 5, then 6.
VC rolled 5, then 1.

Empire decides which corner they want and will deploy first.

Ignore this post - wrong thread...
There are three things each man judges another man by;

1. The size of his codpiece
2. The amount of skulls he carries
3. The length of his feather

I'll be gettin' my corpse on, this time around...

...and I want to thank Noght again for the work he's already put in, and in advance for the insane work he's about to...

Thatīs some sweet-looking models there Noght! Very cool!

Also, it wonīt matter so much what side the Empire picks, but rather what they eat before the battle. Iīm hoping they got in a nice meal before the battle so their blood will taste sweet once or Vampires start sucking it from their veins! *trash talk mode*  :icon_twisted:

Do vampires suck the blood from the warrior priests? or does it remain potentially holy and unsavoury?

If so, we can enjoy watching the ghouls play with their still warm bodies, after all a quick death is no fun.

Empire has chosen to deploy in the SW corner of the board.

The Light Wizards rolled 1 & 2 and 1 & 4 for spell selection.  They've elected to keep 0, 1 and 0, 4.

Reinforcement rolls resulting in all units except Pistolers deploying as normal.

Rules for the Acropolips are in the BRB.  The back walls are moveable and just there for the visual.  The fence is not.

Any questions?

Empire Deployment.  Around the Ruins.  Vamps up.  Ask about specific ranges and such.  I'll lay out the rulers and post pics...

Vampire Counts Reinforcement Roll:

Zombies + Master Necromancer.  Skeletons + Vamp Hero.  Terrorgheist enter as Reinforcements during Remaining Moves Turn 1.

So Lvl 4 off the board for the Empire first turn (assuming 1-5 come up).

Anyone want Dicelog information, PM me....

Noght, as much as I appreciate the pictures, I canīt tell what the heck those units are supposed to be (well, aside from the Archers, obviously). Could we get a battlemap or at least a description on whatīs supposed to be what? And where the characters are?

Vamps set up.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The Light Wizard in the NE corner of the Spears can see both The Terrorgheist and the Corpse Cart.  The Light Wizard in the Archers cannot even if moving 8" either way.

The Hounds vanguarded up to 12.5 inches away from targets.

The dice Roll is a one.  The Empire Team chooses who goes first.

Empire Blooms.  Keeping Spears and Halberdiers near to Acropolips.  Pistoliers out of SH charge arc, long range shots at Dogs.  Wizard moves to corner of Halberdiers.  Both Wizards (bald headed guys w/Swords dressed in White) are over 24" away from the TG and CC.
