But chances for the slann to pop are better than dwellering him we could also move the wizard directly next to the temple guard for a potential miscast template.

All right, let's do things your way, since this sounds like pretty much the only chance we have of popping the Slann at this point. The beat-up STank will only generate 3 Steam, thus ensuring that even a Misfire won't blow it up. The other one will go ahead and generate 5 SP, though - I feel that I need all the juice I can get at this point, and blowing up is still only a 1/9 chance.

Only way we get anything through is by IF.
6 dice flesh to stone, I'd say. It is absolutely necessary to stone the steam tank or we're not going to get what we want from that cc.
If our miscast is merciful we can 1 dice awakening on tetto.

Edit: never mind, chances that we can cast a second spell is near zero in any case.

It seems HHG is giving you a gift on the unengaged Steam Tank pivot, looks really tight on the BC map.

Agreed that not going after your Wiz with his TG was probably a mistake.  Good luck this turn!

I also suggest six dice stone to flesh on the very wounded stank. I also suggest going 3dice move into the cc and 2 steam on the steam gun.

IF the stank survives the Slann most likely will go poof...if the stank dies we most likely still will win combat and the demis can overrun into the TG stank combat continuing the good work of slashing Lizards left and right....they did a great mistake by going into that combat...they should have moved tetto ekko behind the demis and getting our mage...they could then have saved the Slann out of that cc by getting Miasma through but even without it we would have needed....what 2-3 turns to kill it with combat resolution alone it was rather safe and snuggly binding our stank no need to get other units in that allow us to generate combat resolution beyond passive boni.

Yeah, the STank went down, but I think we're still in this, especially if we get the best-case scenario of (a) running the Krox down, and (b) not running far enough to get the TGs' flank out of the Demis' sights. And the Slann being out of combat gives me one last shot at 6-dicing Dwellers and (hopefully) downing it. Fingers crossed, boys - we're heading down the home stretch, and we're still in it.

You don't think he'll charge the Slaan into our Demis? It is his turn next, right?

Yeah, that's true. But I'm thinking that the Demis will probably flee from that fight - he'll have +3 CR from the rear-charge and +1 CR from being the BSB, whereas we only have +1 CR from a standard, so we're likely testing at Ld5 with no re-roll. Speaking of which, HHG is lobbing an Iceshard Blizzard at us - I'm not too worried about the ensuing combat (because we're going to lose and break anyway), but rallying at Ld8 instead of Ld9 sounds a bit dicey. What say you?

Don't we have 3 demigryphs left?  They will be steadfast, unless the Slaan can kill one of them.

...True, I had forgotten about that. Definitely letting him have that Iceshard in that case.

11 dice, so throw 4, 4, 3 at throne, awakening and flesh.  Should get 1 or 2 of those off.

Not seeing that much point in Flesh, the STank is not in real danger right now. Would rather Dwellers + Awakening and try to pop the Skirmishers instead.

Sounds good to me. We can always Life Bloom the Stank for wounds, if we want to go that route.

I know we are cranking up a 10,000 mega-battle, but if you participated in the TEG, please take the time to give some after action comments in the Battle Thread.
