Dont forget the old command model with sword and pistol. I recently found my old empire army, I have a regiment of reiksguard, They are becoming a swordsmen unit. I dont have enough of the two handed swords for a greatswords unit. But they are great models, Im glad i rediscovered them.
Tell me the truth, that banner is printed out and not painted? It just looks too crisp to be painted. No offense intended if it is painted.
I like this Knight and the Praeceptor quite a bit though.
They look awesome! How did you manage the banner?
HOWWWWW!? Victor I love it but how did you get the chevrons on their shields so perfect?

Short answer: I am perfect. :-D I didn't do anything special tbh.
Truly impressive!! :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap:
I´m in the middle of a similar project, and you have convinced me that my scale is too little...by the way, can teach us something about the building method?
Now, it looks good without, but if you should want a rougher texture to the stone, I've heard you can get that from pressing a real rock into the foam.

Good overall looking, but imho the skin seems too flat and the metal paint seems a bit thick
Oh I forgot to ask ... Which blue color have you used ?

Ultramarines Blue
Any other blue color? My Ultramarines blue is nowhere near the one which you have...
Where did you get the banner?

The heraldic motif is from the 5.Edition empire book. I scanned the picture, coloured it in Photoshop and put together the banner. Then I printed it on normal paper and painted over most areas. Same procedure for the crossbowmen's banner and the pennants on the lances of the knights.
Nice conversions and a great banner. :::cheers::: :::cheers::::::cheers::: :::cheers::: :::cheers:::
Is the banner a decal? It looks nice and crisp! :eusa_clap:

They look brilliant! I would like to see more of them! ;)
While this unit looks great, especially the Standard, I kind of feel a little bad, seeing these classics meet the conversion-death...
Death? That's a reincarnation my friend!
Very nice work mate :icon_biggrin:
Not sure if you have thought of this already, but i thought id suggest "Rico's republican gaurd" as a unit of a spearmen great models lots of armour i know they have pikes but they can be spearmen haha
cheers GUS
NIce conversions!! They look amazing!!!
I would like to know how do you make your bases, i like it very much. What do you use for tree leaves??
Thanks and nice army!!!
Thank you guys, for the nice comments! :::cheers:::
After 5 years I'm finally calling my reiksguard foot knight unit finished.

-Victor.
I see you used a banner from the GS sprue, but the shaft is prolonged, which is a smart idea, because it doesn't interfere with the fig of the BB, as it would otherwise. I'm curious what sort of material have you used for the pole? Is it plastic or some metal pin?
The classic model of Kurt Helborg would make a fitting champion for that unit.
Is there any specific reason the Pistoliers aren't on your usual paved bases?
Dye Hard with a Vengeance...
I also dabble in these paper print out -> glue to banner myself, albeit clumsily. How do you get it to be so seamless? Is the paper pretty much covering the entire banner face? Is it regular thickness paper? I can't tell where the paper ends and the metal starts.
Looking great victor, as always. I assume your photo posting issue is fixed?
If they are no master pieces, what do your master pieces look like?

I find the Flammberge pose is nice. If only the sword is a problem, maybe change the sword blade?
Maybe add shadows & highlights to the yellow liveries. Just maybe.
And I really like the greatsword conversions too, not just because you've used some of my bits (ooh...er...).
Not everything no. I have chosen the colours red/white/black for my Reiksguard troops (not Talabheim!). As the last few pictures show, I'm trying to work in some black & yellow too. The plan is to add some non Reiksguard knightly orders as well, which will have different colour schemes.
