Considering the cost of terrain at GW costs, that's a heck of a buy. Nice kit for sure.

Brand: Weico.de (woodenpuzzles)
Shipswright: Henerius

The last one of the wooden puzzles.  Hunting pirates should be great fun with a ship like this  :biggriin:

Frontline Gaming makes some nice mats for war gaming. They're a little pricey, but are on sale right now. Should be perfect for ship battles.

Great find Shark Belly.  Also good to see your work on the Reaper Forum.

@Henerius--Great work!  :::cheers:::
I have had that puzzle but together and sitting on my shelf for years.  Got to think about masts and painting one of these days

Hey guys,

What do you reckon about the size of this?

Thinking maybe a Dwarf paddle steamer?

Hmm... according to the dimensions, it is around 8 inches wide and nearly twice as long. Might work just fine. There would even be room for a gyrocopter pad on top.

Some sort of dwarf plating over the handrails would help. Maybe with shields on them.

I finally finished painting up this longboat from Games of War. Turns out it's just the right size for my Dwarf Slayer Pirates.

Games of War make lovely stuff - I bought a boat off him at the SELWG exhibition last October.

I have a few boats already, and had no intention of buying another  :engel:

He makes much of the mast joins and rigging himself in his workshop, and his enthusiasm for his stuff is so infectious.

I have four boats from Old Glory Shipyard and mostly painted.

Plus I've got a two, maybe even three, dozen pirates to paint (they're primed and ready!).

This thread is often inspiring. :icon_cool: :::cheers:::
