A galloper has just arrived has bought news that Marshall Gernot's van guard has smashed through the Stirland force defending Udo's Falls. Dispatches say that the Stirlanders, lead by the Arch Lector with renegade Sigmarite Ostermarkers defending the Falls, were overrun by the marshal van guard. More news will follow.

Bring on Count Martin, his TGM and the Sigmarite delagate to Stirland have both failed to contain the fury of Ulric and the righteous armies of Talabecland under the renown Marshall Gernot. Udo's Falls will be under the control of the red and 'yella soon. Heres' looking forward to a Ottilian Ostermark.

Udo's Falls

It's Udo's Fall.

Udo's Fall

A gaping wound in the ground, almost a mile across, caused by the impact of a detached fragment of the comet that hit Mordheim. Wyrdstone can be found in the depths of the crater, but every mining settlement established to recover the valuable material has been abandoned in a matter of days. Today, the crater is surrounded by lonely ruins and filled with impenetrable mists. Though a forbidding sight, the crater promises great riches to whoever can retain control of it.

Local legend states that the fragment destroyed the tower of a powerful wizard who dared to defy the might of the gods - the eponymous Udo - but such stories are ten a penny. The name more likely derives from one of the many failed attempts at mining the crater for wyrdstone.

If Udo's Fall was destroyed by a shard of the meteorite that destroyed Mordheim, then there probably was a demonic entity there, just as in Mordheim. No wonder then, that the Talabeclanders do so well, if so close to the remains of the demons. The dark energy that still lingers there must have strengthened them, and thwarted the noble Stirlanders   .

The noble Marshall Gernot actually attacked the Fall to stop a blasphemes ritual the herectical Stirlanders where carrying out. Without his intervention the whole of the Ostermark would be sinking under the weight of Daemon summoned by Count Martin and his daemon priests.

The truth is plain to see, Noble Middenlanders, brothers in Ulric, let us crush these evil heretics before they help chaos overrun our Empire with their foul beliefs.
