I will look soon. Sorry! Marius looks good though. Honestly I am fine for you to paint him how you like. I will give some more info soon. But I am kind of okay with almost anything you like! Maybe...

Your trolls have a lot of character!

Recieved a missed package notification yesterday. Will need to go there next week, but sounds promising.

Interesting when interpretting the first stage of ‘religion’ before the second stage duality takes over. Hmmm

Oh I remember that thread and when you joined then. Has it seriously been about 1 1/2 years since then? Wow!

Beautiful. Welcome also (at least to the land of the posting).

I really love the shields, and also the purple sashes. How do you do that purple?

WotDG (the 9th Age equivalent) has since removed trolls completely from the chaos list. So will need to be wahammer...

That has been a while ago now... they need to refresh that attitude instead of becoming more bitter. It certainly doesn’t make me interested to invest time in the game. I was playing wait and see to determine if it would be worthwhile and interesting, but from what I see of their ‘ASAW’ approach it looks like they are removing the interesting.

I feel like the way they are going though, its only going to be a tournament game, and that doesn’t seem to me to be the way to attract and keep players. Though time will tell I guess.

So I read on and off various threads on the T9A forum, and it just feels like the creators resent their players?

I have seen plenty of topics where people are asking for simple considerations, to which the creators often just shout down or say too bad because of xyz.

I also find it weird they insist that the game is different from Warhammer, and that you cant even mention it, but they insist on applying the same tropes. One example was that one of the creators said Vampires shouldn’t have missile weapons and Dwarves can’t have cavalry. Why? The reason for that is Warhammer. If you are free from its influence, be free?

I don’t know, it just feels pretty toxic to be honest. Any thoughts from those who partake in T9A?

Oh fair enough then. It is fun DIY.

I have two side panels with parts of the bottom struts cut off from when I built my War Altar years and years back, but have never found a use for them. Up to you - offer is there

I may have something for you for the sides? I think I owe you something anyway?

Very big welcome to the forum.

Those are beautiful, and I love the tanner, tailors, cobblers and shearers!

A month in Europe then ?

Correct! Need to figure out an itinerary.
Nervous about flights with a 1 yr old and a 4 yr old.
how old is the 1? near to 1 or near to 2?

Toddlers are easily the worst to fly with, babys sleep and 4+ can be entertained partially with tablets etc.

although ive never done anything close to magnitude of oz to uk.

good luck!

1 year old is 1 in a month. So will be 14 months. She loves crawling and is starting to walk currently. She might be ok, or she might be horrible. I don’t know.

4 year old is 3 now, but will have just turned 4 by flight time. I expect / hope he will be fine watching shows. He will be wired though, but yeah I reckon he will be ok.

Oz WD 304 (April 2005) has an article entitled The Sigmarites, which is a short fluff-piece with very little in the way of photography, none of which includes a STank.  There's nothing even remotely related to Sigmarites within a couple of months either side.

That rules me out of finding it then!

I haven’t bought anything for a while, and I imagine the price is going to make me hate myself, but I want some.

I pull all white dwarfs apart and seperate articles into clear sleeve folders.
As such I cannot reference what I have to which WD, but I will have a look through my Empire folder. I dont ever really recall seeing such an army in what I collected, but you never know.

Great looking models and great poses too!

The new formula is terrible, barely works anymore. I think they actually started changing the formula further back then 2016. They had to change the formula to keep their "environmentally friendly" tag.

If you have the old formula then just soak the miniatures (plastic or metal) over night and the paint should start sluffing off and a little tooth brush scrubbing will clean it up. If it's the new formula you'll need some dish soap and a lot of elbow grease.

I've switched to the weirdly named "LA's Totally Awesome" available at my local .99 cent store. A dollar a gallon and it works better then the old Simple Green formula.

Agree. My first batch of simple green was very effective way back when, and nowadays it takes extra scrubbing with a toothbrush to get anywhere.

Not sure how I missed this awesome post from years back. I love the idea and execution! Is there a painted update?

Dryad unit looks great.
Love the peachy coloured leaves, and the multi-coloured spites. Can’t tell where the tester is amongst the rest either!

Dire Wolves - did you end up deciding an eye colour? Maybe yellow?

Keen to see more terrorghiest!

Waywatches are coming along. I love the final version of the tester.
