I'd say do it. That's how you make friends on the internet.

Reduced price three times, plus white dwarf thrown in?

It ain't easy being a stormcast eternal.
I agree with the inhumane treatment of animals.

$50.

Or you could buy a virtually unlimited number of them brand new for $4.25 each, direct from the manufacturer.

Or, if you really want to pay $50, I've still got one of these I'll sell you.

I guess it's the old original figure in its old, original and well-kept package. The buyer paid for nostalgia, and possibly for completeness, if s/he has all the others from the original series. It might be a present, in which case these things might matter even more, and the $50 even less.

Is that ebay or the GW website?

I have put up some birdmen of catrazza. Is $150 unreasonable? Is anyone here interested (/shameless plug)

Same seller, $3,800 for an unopened box of DE Executioners. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DARK-ELVES-HAR-GANETH-EXECUTIONERS-/252337321599?hash=item3ac079f67f:g:h~cAAOSwZ8ZW-zZy  :icon_lol:

For whatever it's worth, I had no luck selling mine (forums, Facebook groups, etc. but not eBay) for $50 (US) for a sealed box of Birdmen.

I would say AU$ 150 is a bit steep, but don't take my word for it. I think I bought mine for about EUR 40 a couple of years ago, but you never know.

DoW prices are way down compared to a couple years ago. If you can get a bit over $10 each you're doing pretty ok.

Again nothing to laugh, but just another complaint:

Since the Brexit vote I have noticed that the number of offers on ebay.co.uk that use the ebay Global Shipping Programme has increased. But not only the quantity of such offers has increased, but also the prices for shipping went from well overpriced to absolutely ludicrous. Ebay asks for up to £25(!!!) for the shipping of a single miniature. What the hell? (I'm very tempted to use another word here, but 'hell' will have to do.)

The best thing is, some people don't even realize that they are using the Global Shipping Programme (and only wanted domestic buyers) ... others don't realize that the prices are so crazy for overseas buyers. I wish more UK sellers would realize that at least half of the potential buyers on ebay.co.uk are not from the UK and would simply offer a no nonsense international shipping option (at least to other EU countries). It would take 5 minutes to research the appropriate shipping cost, but they apparently can't be bothered and seem to be happy to sell their miniatures for (way) less within the UK, which is a saturated market when it comes to WH.

I don't get it.

There is no 'outside the UK.' The rest of the world is imaginary. That's what the referendum was about.

victor, as an occasional seller, it is much cheaper and easier just to ship within the UK.

eBay is mostly about ease of use instead of maximising profits.

It might be a bit easier, since you don't have to deal with people who might not be very proficient in English, but that's about it. Why would it be much cheaper? Sure you have to pay more fees because of the higher shipping cost (which is a bit unfair in general), but on the other hand your item well probably sell for more, easily compensating that.

But I understand what you are saying - they view it as additional effort/trouble, but it really isn't. I regularly see items sell for 1/2, 1/4 or less of the possible price, because the seller would only allow domestic bidders - I can't imagine that that was worth the time for the sellers.
