Agreed - if you are salivating over very old Foundry Vikings as Kislev substitutes, then there are umpteen manufacturers out there with"Kislev" models.

The trick will be if none of us genuinely haven't seen the models before ........... and maybe the big reveal will turn out to be a Gordon Brown book-signing.

I'm loving painting these Viking, Norscan style Kislev style models.

I had a metal Mace in my bitz box , so i greened it into place

Thanks mate.

I just use thin neat base coats, then lots of thin washes.

Add to that an eye for the right colour choice, and bingo , it seems to work for me.

Just received the Elector Count of Ostland mounted metal model via e bay.

Cut his legs off and one arm! Combined with Reiksguard foot knights legs, and a Militia sword arm.

This is my Gospodar Captain.

really messy hack and slash job, but i think i can make this work.
