Wonderful scenery. The biggest compliment I can give and this has inspired me to build some scratch-built scenery myself. Obviously on a much less grand scale. I have been promising myself to try for over 20 years and have finally started as a result of you mansion. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks and good luck, remember buildings are just simple block shapes with bits stuck on.
I'm new to this forum, I've had a quick look at people's work and there's alot of hobby love here. I find that very inspiring too.
Here's a unit filler for my gunmen.

The mansion is great... I mean really amazing... but that unit filler... that rocks my world!

I've had pics of that mansion in my "inspirational pics" folder for ages. Glad to see you on the greatest forum known to manlingkind.

Pulls up chair... waits patiently for more.

Thanks, although I should describe it as a unit narrative, its called 'the rear rank',it helps to break up the blandness of the unit.

They shoot better after a few.

Thanks for the kind words folks.
I've seen some town walls on this site so I thought I'd share my work in progress. This has been made from many children's toy castles.

I must have them... I must have them now!  :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

It is Falcon Castle by Simba, I bought about 30  of them off eBay a couple of years back, haven't seen any for a while.

This made me laugh a lot, I forgot how funny Wayne's World is.

I started the burgomeisters mansion to get away from this project as it was driving me barmy.

More pics of the keep.

The castle walls

This was all I could fit on the table, this is about one quarter of the project. The rest of the walls are half as tall and encompass a town.
Maybe one day I will finish it and have a fully painted garrison to boot.

Greater depths of madness are revealed with every post. It's awesome!

Where are you based? Do these projects have a chance of showing up at a Games Day or something, because it's a horrible waste if they're just sitting around your house (in the case of these castle walls, I imagine them literally going all the way around your house)...

Those drunkgunners are excellent, the bottle's shine effect is especially well done!  Keep it up!

Do the defenders on the upper walls need to wear oxygen masks?!?

Very nice. Everything -- painting, modeling, figures & terrain. All top-notch work!
