New Photobucket Problems!

New Photobucket Problems!

I can currently barely access my PB account (it's DEAD slow) and I can't export any images after I've edited them (not even a simple resize) which is making it impossible to post images online :(

I get a weird error message "This license is not vaild for the hostname..." which makes me worry it might be a problem with just my account?

I emailed them and apparently they had a massive power problem on Dec 18th and are migrating the whole system over to different servers or something.

Just wondering if anyone else is having any problems? Would be reassuring to know!

I do not have those problems - because I do not use photobucket anymore.

According to their FB page, they've been down or mostly down since Dec. 18. They previously posted links to a "news" page on their web site explaining the outage, but that appears to have been taken down.

Yeah, that's what I read. What are people using instead? I don't want to migrate everything (imagine the carnage just to this site!) but I'm unable to post ANYTHING new at the moment and I nearly finished my Hill Giants...

BTW There's an app you can add to PB to download 100 photos at a time... I still use PB through my old paid-for-but-not-excessive account and until now it's been fully functional if slow and clunky.
