I looked around a few pages in the B&P but didn't see any mention of it so I thought I might start a thread on painting tutorials. Here's what I've been watching, just in case it helps others in their never-ending quest to paint or try new things.
My wife and I have been watching a lot of painting tutorials from
Warhammer TV on youtube. We've mostly been watching 40k ones, but they do AoS and other GW titles as well which can be ported to WHFB or AoS. Honestly the main painting teacher, Duncan "Two Thin Coats" Rhodes, has become the patron saint of the hobby on reddit. I don't know what it is about his painting tutorials, but they are soothing and are almost like watching Bob Ross videos, but for GW miniatures. They can teach you how to paint to the quality that you see in an army book or codex from GW. These tutorials can range from a 2 minute tip about highlighting, to a medium 10-15 minute tutorial on painting a whole model for table top, to a 30 minute video on painting a model that is impressive enough to win a golden daemon award. Its also just nice to have on in the background while you paint!

Duncan Rhodes Painting Academy where he paints all kinds of miniatures, from WH40K to Star Wars to Game of Thrones. I really liked his Sisters of Battle painting tutorial. Its magnificent! *chef kiss*
