With all the change going on here, I thought this was appropriate. This guy has all kinds of positive music.

for the past 2 years, I have sat in my cage, watching the owners put me in small, translucent spheres, and dump small, rock like food, into my cage. But no longer!, I have broken free of the shackles of being a hamster and now!, I paint, as a hamster can not do much more, mostly our small life span

I haven't got time to list all the things I'm listening to. I barely have time to listen to them! Exciting times to be a music fan.

Here's one thing though - The Men That Will Not be Blamed for Nothing recently released a new album, and they are playing live in US soon, Americans!

"Baby Farming" from new album Double Negative

Damn this is good.
Jain - Makeba
She exudes pure positivness in this. Also love this video. So much is happening in the little details.

King Crimson - Satori in Tangier
Tony Levin with the ‘stick’ is incredible. Too bad the video doesn’t focus on what is going on here. Robert Fripp is about as animated as I’ve ever seen him.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WO_dS7ti64

Also just came across this version of Bowie’s Hero’s by KC. Best version I’ve ever heard.  Not sure who this vocalist is but he’s fantastic.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2JywkrIiXW8

Have to add one more here. KC - Discipline. Brilliant guitar, bass stick and percussion interweaving amongst the sound. In all my time I never got to see these guys live in any rendition.

Putting this out there again. I’ve listened to this at least 18 times since last posted. I am not a dancer by any means and no one will ever have the opportunity to see that (consider yourself lucky) but this could have me moving. She was 24 when this was released and it is an homage to makebo - ‘mama africa’ - a civil rights activist and musician who basically introduced African music to the western world.
Deny if you can but this song is a pop (??!!) masterpiece. Those 2 words should never go together btw.

Listen as loudly as freakin possible.

Wow! Just being part of the court of the crimson king would be enough for me but they put out a lot of good music.

Insomnium - Down with the Sun
This is a Finnish melodic death metal band that is brilliant in its music and the lyrics are especially good. That’s if you can understand his voice so the lyrics are written here. Pure poetry.

Just scrolling thru YouTube music vids. Still on a Jain - Makeba high and listening to her other popular tracks - Come - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDXOzr0GoA4, and her new hit - Alright - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MARsW26KXQg

And I come across this utterly amazing trio. This gives me confidence in the new music being made today. Brilliant. I recommend searching LEJ and listening to this amazing group. One of their videos is about 24 minutes - a small show and their vocal abilities are stunning.

I am listening to a fictional Tangerine Dream Album, Tangerine Dream - Stranger Things https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pjXT8qadGo.

I've always loved TD, and the stuff produced by the members individually, and there is LOADS of it. Now I have discovered the Youtube 'Imaginary' versions of their albums.
Photobucket has graciously resurrected my pictures, so my collected works thread is suddenly working again - see http://warhammer-empire.com/theforum/index.php?topic=38528.0. To see my slowly growing website go to https://bigsmallworlds.com/
