Or maybe it's an alien that just happens to look a bit like an ape.
I doubt its a monkey or an ape, neither has the abilities of a Jakero.  Yep, definitely an alien.  Just not a big scary one and wouldn't want to see it on the random monster generation table, cause then I'd be less than impressed with whomever wrote the table because they should know better, if you know what I mean.

What does it even do???
attach it to a squad, roll a d6.
it gives various bonuses, such as +1 to armour save, a 5+ invulvnerable save, +12 inches to weapon range.
On a 1 it does nothing.
Why did i take imperial guard !?

One at a time! :icon_eek:  What good is that?
far away, lascannon.
12 inches away, melta.
close, vs infantry, heavy flamer.

EC43, the inquisitorial henchmen are only bs3.

But, if you were allowed to take an IG army with some GK units like you used to, I would definitely do that.
I don't care about the rules.

Pass the machete.

Maybe even 24 inches if you get it when you roll for the space-chimps special ability?

It's a Multimelta, so it has 24" range anyway. The extra d6 to armor penetration only kicks in at half range though, so with the enhanced range the MMs effectiveness would start at 18".

I like the second picture more, as it looks like the plasma cannon fires chainsaws.
I thought he should act responsibly and just kill himself.

Or a plasmacannon with a chainsaw bayonet.  That would be very GW  :-)

Frankly, I feel all heavy weapons should come with bayonets as standard. Especially on vehicles.

Exactly. So far, only CSM seem to be making progress in that regard. One more reason to love 'em.

I beleive my defiler has bayonets on its reaper autocannon.  In a place it cant physically get to hit ground models!  On terminators it makes sense to put bayonets on their small arms weapons from a certain perspective [Mark of Khorne for example] but otherwise it is mighty silly.

CSM have bayonets on Lascannons. And pintle-mounted bolters.

The sentinel looks cool.

I finished one of mine last night too, and almost finished my two unpainted melta metal cadians.

Clearly for repelling boarders.

Today is your day for wishes coming true. Just look under "Warhammer 40000 collectors" on the GW site and behold, ye shall have Steel Legion to your hearts content, and at pretty reasonable prices too.
