Whilst 40k is not my thing , I love the color palette you are using and the crispness of the painting.
In the UK so much 40k is too dark and dingy, so this is a refreshing change. :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :biggriin:

Firepower!

You could cover its base in scrap, spare limbs and heads from the plastic boxes. A kind of burn and twisted mess this guy leaves behind.

Have you considered doing some wear & tear & battle damage on these? They look very very unscratched and recently cleaned.

I don’t think so.  I weather my other armies pretty heavily.  Knights have these servants whose entire reason to live is the service, maintain, and repaint knights after every mission or so.  They restore there knights to perfection.  I’m going with my knights being that.

My target is to mimicking the classic 1990’s/5th edition fantasy style of cleanish lines and bright silly colors.  I bought it would be fun!

Finished my Gallant.  He was fabulous in the game I played yesterday, which was an absolute blood bath!!

Here is my inspiration for the arm, Classic 90’s GW:

A couple snaps from yesterday:

The finished gallant (yesterday’s was only partially done.)

Tender Heart!

Splendid work, really.

Now you need to focus on painting the terrain (of your friend?). That quality of paintjob on the figures cries for quality terrain. Buy a good futuristic battlemat too!  :-)

There is so much colour on these guys. Fantastic. A game against the orange orks would be a delight

Some of my summer projects wrapping up and a new army begins.

Goliath gangers:

I have three left as my gang is currently is constructed.  Here are the first 5.

My Helverins:

And my new project, a Death Guard army.  These are test models I did to make sure my system for doing Apostles of Contagion was going to work.

I don't collect/paint/play 40K (or 30K), but when I see those bulky fliers and mechs so nicely painted, I feel the urge to start...

You definitely should! Especially 30K. :biggriin:

Incredible. Nothing short of incredible. I never pictured those drones in any colour other than the nurgle  green and that looks fantastic.
