Wow! I would love to take my boys there.
Photobucket has now re-destroyed my pictures, so the first half of my collected works thread is no longer working again. To see my website version of the campaign thread, with fully functioning pictures, please go to https://bigsmallworlds.com/

Just came back from a little trip to a desert like area in Colombia. I expect this house to be quiet boring, but the design was amazing.

Constructed by an old classmate from my father for 15 years (1999-2014) and built entirely out of mud and cooked after to add strength and water resistance. Whole house has a Gaudí style, and from the side you can see that the structure has a fish shape. Everywhere you can find little decorations or designs of real or fantasy creatures (elephants, dragons, etc). I couldnt find a good picture of the house online, so when I get the ones we took I will post more if you want.

Gaudi was inspired by natural structure strength and design. I see parts in the picture you sent, but also not as well. Though that may he the medium used. Definitely looks intended to be organic shaped though. Looks underwatery.

I think I could handle living in the red cottage. Only been to ocean park Maine before. I was 13 and a friends family rented a beach house for a month and I was invited. Totally fell in love with the place. I really think I could live there, new hampdhire, Vermont or Nova Scotia if I was ever to pack up and leave.

Some of my favorite places on my side of the world.  When I visit here, I am happy.

Tofino/Long Beach - Vancouver Island, BC.  Always rainy, always spectacular (when I'm there anyways).  Food, wine, seafood, happyiness.

http://www.nationalpost.com/life/exotic+canada+grey+escape+visitors+tofino+hope+rain/4491594/story.html

Haida Gwaii (formerly Queen Charlotte Islands) Friendliest, spookiest, most awe inspiring place I ever visited.  Kayak'd once as a teenager and went to see old First Nations villages/poles.  Life altering visit for those who are open to a different experience.

http://www.gohaidagwaii.ca/blog/kayak-haida-gwaii

K-Country, Alberta.  The rural mountain experience that isn't a tourist trap.  What ever you like to do outdoors, you can do here.  Seriously.

Sentry Box, Calgary AB - Your favorite game/GW/mini's store will fit within the fiction section of this store (I'm not kidding).  That's not including the Historical section (larger than most entire stores), board games, and mini's.  So big they eventually pawned off the CCG section into an entirely different store to be able to keep expanding the mini's section.  Motto "If it's in print, we'll try to stock it." Not an idle saying.  I have spent untold amount of hours there, playing many many things.  Check out the "About us" tab for images.  The News/Events tab will have you visiting every day.

With the frigid temperatures around here today, this might not be the first place one would think to go, but it is a place I'd love to go see ...

Ha ha, GP. You're joking with us. As if there really is a place called Sweden, named after the vegetable Swede. Next you'll be telling us there's a place called Carrotland, or that there are places named after Brussel Sprouts or Tangerines or Turkish Delight or Black Forest Gateau! Hang on, I may have weakened my argument.

Swede = Rutabaga :icon_mrgreen:

And yes, Bar Harbor is a great place to visit, been there several times.  It is actually a National Park too.  Wonderful place!

Here's a different location …
