An empire character's strength IS his troops
« on: February 26, 2010, 11:03:28 PM »
Basically the simple statement that an empire character's strength Is his troops, guard, or whatever may be following him.  That said I really like the idea that priests get flaggies as core and feel that it should be reciprocal for the other types of character we have.

FREX

GOTE's a unit of greatswords count as core
GM's  a unit of inner circle knights count as core
engineers unlock engineer teams and/or 1 piece of special artillery become core
Wizards  i'm not sure, but we could come up with something.
perhaps a unit of infantry can absorb a miscast result with a casualty (basically a lookout sir for magic) or maybe store magic die, or maybe any unit joined by a wizard gains a MR of 1 or 2, hero or lord class wizards respectively, or I don't know just chucking stuff out into the air to see what comes down.

what are all your thoughts people?

Hey, trolls stay the hell out, this is a serious thread. Empire are cheese. 2 steam tanks, a war altar and 4 cannons is so obviously overpowered. Anyone who thinks otherwise clearly hasn't had their dragon shot down on turn 1 yet."
