Well these are down to under a day ...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dogtagminiatures/28mm-ww2-hungarian-army?ref=discovery

I've made my pledge, and added some on for more figures, too.  It is close to the second stretch goal and I hope they make it!

The one above made it to the second stretch goal, yippee!

I now need to look up and see if Too Fat Lardies has a list for Hungarians for Chain of Command.

- - - - - -

And now there is this ...  https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1873378485/28mm-german-fallschirmjager-in-italy-1943-45?ref=discovery

This outfit has quality figures, I own some of their eastern front Germans in winter gear, and they are excellent, well worth having them.

I'm not sure I am into Fallschirmjager for the Italian campaign, but we'll see.  Good be good for some skirmish gaming.

Those Germans are looking pretty nice. If I played any WW2 stuff I'd consider them strongly.

Their winter Germans are great!

I'm sure these will be as well, even though the computer graphics stuff doesn't show the ending quality they're able to produce.

I'm still resisting, partially because I know who in the states can get them if I want them, and partially because I got too much stuff already.

Well no pledge for the Falshirmjagers for me.  It looks like it did well, so they'll be available, if I eventually decide yes.  Its not calling me.

These could be used for historical situational gaming or pulp gaming ...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/179272384/classic-movie-miniatures-episode-2

I like the whole concept ... however, still deciding what level I'll pledge at.

I like all the figures, so probably at least that. And I'd love to purchase the steamer boat as an add on at the end!
Received these today, and really liking the looks of the Tramp Steamer kit! Can't wait to paint it and put it together. :icon_biggrin: :::cheers:::

The figure selection, one of each pack, will give plenty of selection for gaming with the steamer boat. :icon_cool:

Anyone know of ideas for instructions on painting this fiber board stuff for these kinds of kits :icon_question:

Looking forward to them!

Brigade Games kickstarter ... AWI militia and British 1768 Warrant uniforms ...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brigadegames/28mm-american-war-of-independence-miniatures-range

I've sworn off doing AWI in 28mm, to focus on AWI in 40mm.  However, these are done by Paul Hicks and have a wonderful character and variety.

It is awfully tempting.

Couldn't resist any longer.

Went for the 10 packs with 2 free ones.

Will pick all militia packs, Brit line, and maybe some Brit lights, because they are talking about adding the latter as new stretch goals.

Or ... as Estalian and Tilean buildings too! :icon_cool:

I have a good number of products from this outfit.  Well done, and recommended. :::cheers:::

Uh oh ... Polish Lithuanian commonwealth figures from Terico Miniatures ...

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1418344245/polishlithuanian-commonwealth-28mm-metal-miniature?ref=thanks-recommendations

These guys brought along the Spanish figures, Low Country figures, and Ottoman figures for this era, and these look very good as well!

Plus a person can pick up some of the other figures to use as allies during the kickstarter as well. :icon_cool:

I pledged for the above Polish Lithuanian kickstarter ... 3 packs which will be the 2 Pancerni packs plus the mounted Haiduks pack, and then I get the scout for free.  The 2 Pancerni packs will make three bases of two figures each, and I'll put the scout with the mounted figure resting his gun on his leg to have 2 bases of 2 light cav.

I'm tempted to go with the 5 pack pledge because it gets the leader figure and an extra 6th pack free, but we'll see.

They do look good.

I have looked at Tercio before - not sure why I haven't bought from them.

They used to have their own rules set if I remember correctly - so maybe figures involved cards as well - not sure?

I have a mixed force that being assembled for By Fire and Sword.

Those rules are meant for use with 15mm, but locally we've translated them into 28mm.

I vaguelly recall something about Tercio having rules, although weren't they for 15mm too?

Tercio can be used in 15 and 28mm.
