Ouch. Hope you are feeling better now.

In January, I had placed an order with Maelstrom Games, a rather big one. Didn't hear from them for weeks, then I wrote them. Answer:
"Some of the stuff you ordered is unavailable. We'll split the order, and you get the rest as soon as we have it."

Okay, so far, no problem. I would have liked being told without actually having to ask, but hey, no need to get angry.

Almost two months later, there's still no sign of the rest of the order (amounting to about GBP 50). So I ask again. Answer:
"Sorry, still not available. You get a refund. The refund goes to the moneyback (their internal bonus program). Since the money gets refunded, we deduct GBP 28 from your moneyback."

So essentially, they want me to pay GBP 28 for merchandise I never got. And it's not a mistake either; it's both in the mail and in my user account. Nice try, guys.

augh i dont know if its the Tylenol with codine or if its just my body's reaction to the trama of my tooth being pulled but I feel like I havnt eaten in days even though I have.

Nope, but it pretty much is by now. 'Dropping' everything last week was the best thing I could have done I guess. Feeling a lot better- planning on going back to university tomorrow. That way I hope I can at least pass the coming exams, as I missed the last one (last Friday).

Yup, but they only mean that I can't get kicked off the study (which would also ban me from taking it up somewhere else for five years). Still have to redo the test(s?) this summer. But I've made my peace with it- getting wound up over it will only make it worse.

Sucky thing is though that my ex (who I most likely contracted it from) is not suffering from it.

Getting dumped SUCKS!!!

isn't the first time a relationship ends. But this was the first time in my life i was planning on builiding my life around someone else.
2,5 year of total bliss, this girl, our relationship was a good as it gets. after another briliant weekend i wake up next to her on monday morning and seeing her face i knew something was wrong. We talked before about the fact she didn't know what she wanted with her life at the moment, having doubts about having a relationship at all, idealising being single. finding stuff out for herself, not having someone to fall back on.... But hell, that was months ago, and things went so fucking smooth. The saturday before the break up one of her girlfriend made a comment to her that it was so great to see that my (ex)gf still looked so very much in love, like we we here still in our first month. she bloody rediated....
well so much for that.

but 3 months later and i still feel like crap. First month was doable thanks to large amounts of alcohol...But trying to get one with everyday life is a pain.....

Third or fourth month after is often the worst, in my opinion. Try sports for distraction (and adrenaline is better than alcohol anyway).

Well I am really looking forward to his appearance - I would go so far as to say I wil be deeply disappointed if he doesn't show.

There is quite an opportunity here for a meeting of forum stalwarts.
It would be quite something to have Gnu, Marek and White Knight all in the same room along with us regulars - now that would make a Bash Photo - and take the event up a significant notch.
