My parents pay 60 bucks a month for AT&T internet that's supposed to be 3/1 MBPS but is usually 1.06/.6 on a good day and a landline my father uses 1-2 times a day for short, work-related calls.

And they just ordered replacement parts for the dying 7 year old laptop I gave them several years ago.

Well I was working yesterday and got a text from a friend who lives at the same block as me, who wrote that there had been a water leak in the basement and up to 5" of water was down there. I had just moved there friday and saturday, so i had a lot of stuff in my basement cage... fawk

I went and checked just now, and it wasnt that bad! My cage was at a lucky position! Some boxes were soaked, but they mostly contained warhammer sprues haha

So its nothing to cry about, it could have been much worse!

Couldn't agree more. Youtube is not only a place to watch people fall down stairs or cats chasing their tails, it is a place for people to showcase how stupid they are by posting comments. Supertramp, eh? Youtube is priceless.

as for my Random unhappy thought:

I have taken 2 days off work (Yesterday and Monday) to make sure i get the Tax sorted out before the 31st (already dealt with thankfully, took less time than i thought) however my Boss, in his undying love of being as much of a pain in the Proverbial as possible has decided to put off as many deliveries arriving on Monday and Friday as possible and re-book them in for Tuesday and later as possible. Suffice to say im looking at 40+ pallets of Delivery's on my first day back if he manages to do what he wants
