Lots of little issues.
-Insurance company tacked a mystery charge onto my bill. When I called to complain to last month, the rep told me it was a mistake on their part. Yesterday I got a letter threatening to take away my insurance if I didn't pay it.

-Big project at work. Lots of contractors who are unfamiliar with the building. I want to be patient but many of them are incredibly stupid and need to have their hands held while they work.
-Lease is coming to an end. Unsure whether I want to renew or not. I'm sure I'll have regrets either way.
-Allergies.

I am really upset right now and need to vent.

Some background: me and a couple of friends started a gaming group with funding from the municipality and a national gaming organisation. We were allowed to stay and store our stuff at the municipality's youth council's premises. Last year the municipality opened up a large house, called Stenkrossen, where youth organisations of all kinds can hang out with theatre, filming and music equipment, a café, a large auditorium, loads of space and much more, and they asked our group if we would want to move there instead of the slightly cramped flat we share right now with the youth council. We were delighted to, of course.

But last night there was a manifestation by a group known as Reclaim the Streets and somehow they got access to Stenkrossen and nearly a hundred people started partying and managed to break almost every single thing that wasn't nailed to the floor. A group that stand for a more open and free society just destroyed a place that provides just that for the young people in our town. I am just so angry right now my hands are visibly shaking. These people are just... I have no words.

So Paypal was hacked today and the criminal decided to but themselves a laptop.

Fortunately Paypal e-mailed me the transaction details and sent me through the person's delivery name and address.

Hopefully it will help the police with their investigation and thankfully the company cancelled the order but nevertheless... pretty shit.

Finally abandoned Ellie and violet, crying, in the master beds room and retreated to the spare room so I can get some sleep before my 9am meeting.

Shame ted is almost certain to be up at 5.40, horribly cranky by 7.30 because hews tired from waking up too early. He is then either horribly naughty all day, or take a a nap, behaves better but doesn't go to bed properly.

And the wife wants more kids?

So i got what I thought was the flu a week ago today. Now the cough is in my chest and I'm coughing up blood twixt the phlegm. I left my job last month and yet to sign my new contract so I got no health insurance and no money for the Dr. This sucks .Although the blood isn't alot I think I've just been coughing so much in the last week I've made my throat raw.

Well you've just announced a round of voluntary redundancies, a moratorium on hiring new people and you won't be renewing any temporary contracts, so no, I don't agree with that.

Yes, I applied, and got, a new job within the library, on a years temporary contract. (but kept my permanent contract for my old job). So it looks exceedingly likely that in november I’ll be back to my old job. Dropping 2 grades down the salary scale, and about a million grades down the “my job is interesting” scale.

The really annoying thing is my new big boss is emphasising what my new job is as being important- but not supporting it! I guess they’re gonna try and make other people do it.

My line manager and her line manager both really want to keep me, but don’t think it’s likely.
