My old man works in the foreign office and apparently he is surprisingly good. Did the meeting with the French ambassador in French, the meeting with the German ambassador in German, Greek in Greek, etc.

Yeah, it does. My brother takes it even harder. He also didn't spoke to dad, but had much more good memories of him than me. At least we have a few pictures and some personal things of his.

I'm very sorry to hear that. It's hard when family falls out and sometimes even harder when they pass without a chance to at least talk again.

My grandmother passed in July at 97. It's sad but we're thankful it was quick and painless.
